In fact this well balanced, west coast IPA is dry hopped 3 separate times, each lot giving it more and more of the grapefruit citrus hop aroma and flavor it is known for. Overall it utilizes over 4 pounds of pacific northwest hops per barrel.

Pours a nice amber orange with medium white head. Aroma very pleasant of citrus hops, pine, grass, and a bit of caramel. Flavor matches very well and is quite nice and flavorful. Very solid IPA and one I could drink often. Wish I had better access to this.

Pours golden with a fluffy head. A great malty aroma. A very malty ipa. I like it a lot but I’m not sure everyone would.

Bottle. A- Caramel, subtle citrus, slightly malty. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, beige head. T- Caramel, malty, subtle bitterness, pine. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- The caramel malt base definitely took the forefront here. Not overly bitter or citrusy. Decent stuff.

On draft, Crazy Tomato, Lancaster,PA.,served in a shaker glass. Arrived with a 1 inch head, copper hue, awesome lacing and retention. Aroma was citrus and a bit piney. Taste is predominately bitter but had a real solid caramel malt base. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sticky mouth feel. Finished bitter that dried nicely. This is a world class IPA!

Bright and clear brass appearance with a dense foam and plenty of lacing all the way down the glass. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus fruit. Full-bodied and very smooth. Heavy hop character, followed by a bitter dry finish. There is a thickness of malt underneath with bit of sweetness and toasted biscuit. Small hint of alcohol that makes this border on a double IPA. Hopheads will love it.

Translucent golden orange hue with a mid sized white head that rather quickly dissipates. Pungent aroma featuring notes of citrus, pineapple, mango, caramel, grass and potent hops. Mid bodied with a silky tactility. Extremely crisp, refreshing ipa. Citrus and hops reign supreme with various flavours of tropical fruits present as well. Intense fruity citrus is apparent immediately upon consumption, then a lingering hop sensation gradually fades. Not necessarily temporally complex, but the instant flavour is varied and robust. Quite nice.
