Pours a hazy golden amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma is subtle with pine, citrus hops and grapefruits most notably. Taste is slightly sweet with a lingering and slowly intensifying bitterness. Medium body, smooth and creamy on the palate, and strong carbonation. Overall a very good IPA.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with off-white head. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, light grassiness, toasted malts, caramel, and faint pear. Flavor is a burst of flavorful hops up front with floral and citrus notes, smooth malt profile, and a touch of grassy bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

A very nicely balanced IPA, smooth and piney, citrusy, with no bite to disturb the tranquil pacifying and appeasing components. Do you follow? A bomber in a Winter Bundle pack, I had myself persue the three to get to the coveted (for myself, not generally speaking) Velvet Mocha Merlin, the fourth in the box. You know, last time I did this, it was the Sierra Nevada Camp pack, and it was like licking coals in some instances to get to the fountain of the few select martyrs that made it in there. But, I’m glad to say, the Union Jack is jack, yo! Yum! Light copper, lingering foamy head, boquet (can I use that word for beer?) is mango/pineapple mix. Very drinkable and would have again.

Pours clear golden body with fluffy white head that leaves noticeable lacing. Aroma of citrus and pineapple at first then a healthy dose of fresh spruce. Taste starts bitter with notes of grapefruit finished off by honeysuckle and hint of brown sugar. Delightful IPA.

Bomber shared at a party. This was the freshest I’ve seen bottles in town in awhile, and they’re still 4-6 weeks old. Oh well, it’s well within the "best by" time frame, and it’s certainly in its typical retail state, so here we go. Clear light gold-amber pour with white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, caramel, some pine. Moderately sweet with prominent malt backing, moderate bitterness. Medium+ body, oily texture. Overall: I remember thinking this was great the first few times I had it, but since then I’ve been less and less impressed. No idea if it’s because of age or because my tastes have changed, but this is basically a classic west coast IPA that stays close to the center of the style. I’d say my experiences with this have ranged from 3.4-4.0, so I’m splitting the difference.

Pours golden yellow with lingering thick white head. Aroma of pine, dank, earthy. Taste is similar. Well balanced. No EtOH. Bitterness clean and doesn't linger. Medium mouthfeel. Overall well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

All the elements of AIPA well done. Citrusy, notes of black tea and rosemary and Cracker Jacks. Superior. Marvelous. A must try.

Small bottle from CITTI Markt, Flensburg. Misty golden body with a medium sized gelatinous tanned head that leaves good looking laces on the glass wall. Orange marmelade, tropical fruits and toffee on the nose. Medium to full bodied and well carbonated. Bittersweet and aromatic with plenty of tropical notes and an intense orange peel bitterness that lasts. Enjoyable.

Keg @ Citizen Burger. Shocked I’ve never rated this! #4900. Light amber pour with a small white head. Nose is bright, fresh and inviting. Some grapefruit meat and a blast of PNW hops. Soft honey. Flavor is crisp and agile. More citrus, light pine. Melon. Soft mineral, some chalk. Light caramel and a bit of toast. Clean, lightly bitter finish. Mild medium body with active carbonation. Great stuff.

Tried it today. Very fruity aroma and taste. Grapefruit, orange peel, slightly malty. Pleasing aftertaste with a nice bitterness.
