A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

Pours a deep, brown out of the bottle, sitting almost black in the glass. The head is small and tan, leaving streaks of lacing. Aroma is mainly toasted chocolate malt and oatmeal. There are hints of coffee and cocoa powder as well. Taste is more of the same and predominantly chocolate with bitter espresso, with a healthy dose of oatmeal in finish to make it very creamy. The mouth feel is light to medium bodied and feels a tad thin, though it is a low ABV stout. This is a very drinkable. I wish I wouldn’t have threw in my other one as an extra in a trade.

Pours dark - very small tan head. Smells carmely/sugary. Almost a bit watery up front - slowly draws out a nice roasted coffee aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Pours a light bodied dark brown with not much of a head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and some roasted malt. Maybe a hair of tinny metallic notes too. Light bodied and kinda dry for a stout, flavors heavier on the bittersweet chocolate side with some coffee. Slightly roasty and dry with some bitter hops in the finish. For an oatmeal stout, it seems like there should be a little bigger body.

Bottle shared by mtjoseph. Deep, dark brown color with a small off white head. Very nice looking for a regular porter. Big roasted malt aroma, with plenty of chocolate present, and some sugary creaminess present as well. Taste has chocolate and a good amount of roasted malt present. Creamy mouthfeel. Just a really nice stout that I could drink a bunch of in the winter.

Pours black with a creamy beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasty, toffee and traces of oatmeal. Expected rhe oatmeal to be more predominate then it was. Taste was sweet with some bitters. Light mouthfeel and not as creamy as the head made it appear.

Although some say it tastes of caramel, I taste a coffee flavor. Maybe my palette is not as sophisticated. First taste was a little bitter and, in fact, the linger lasted longer than I had hoped. Overall not bad

Dark, almost black pour with a creamy latte head that left some sticky lacing. Aroma of cocoa powder and freshly ground espresso. Creamy mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Flavor shows the oats along with coffee and chocolate. No remnants of barrel. Good solid stout.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown with a thick topping of tan foam. Nose is oats and coffee with distracting funky cereal. Smooth medium body with a lively tingle. Taste is coffee, ash, red licorice and peanut. Some odd notes but not bad.

A - dark brown/black pour with almost no tan head. S- chocolate smokey coffee. M - nice lightly watery creamy body. No carb. T - smokey strong chocolate on the nose. Mild metallic chocolate on the palate, lingering malts. Burned malts throughout. O - pretty good lightly bitter chocolate stout, strong nose but fades to weaker mid. ’. 5+\6-
