COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

Single bottle from Belmont Station today. Pours a rich black with tan one finger head...nose is expresso and chocolate...as is initial taste...sweet expresso. Very smooth. Damn, this is good...

12 oz bottle poured into English pint, pretty much a black pour, tan creamy diminishing head, minimal lacing, smells roasted, some chocolate, texture is medium, not as thick as would be expected, feels like its missing something like some hops, finish is kind of sour, bit disappointing, least from FS I've had as they are typically stellar, it's an oatmeal stout the barrel aged version seems like it would be better

Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Subtle chocolate aroma. Coffee, chocolate, and nutty flavors with low hop bitterness. Smooth creamy mouthfeel with a light body and low carbonation.

On tap at Bangers, not impressed. Did I drink the same thing as other reviewers? Will have to try a bomber to compare. What I had was very thin, a little smoky, but that was about it. None of the oatmeal as advertised on the menu (to be fair, not sure if FW calls it an oatmeal stout), not much flavor, nothing special in terms of aroma or mouthfeel. I didn't even finish it. Hopefully I got the wrong beer or the bottom of the barrel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nearly opaque dark brown color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, oatmeal, burnt toast. Taste of roast, oatmeal, cocoa, coffee, and a creamy finish.

Extremely drinkable and good. Body isnít too heavy but the flavors are strong and linger very nicely. Nice roasted flavors with a little cofee. Not a big beer by abv or body which is impressive in a different way.

12 oz bottle: pours almost black with a tan head. Oily, slick, CO2 sticks to the glass. Aroma of chocolate and toasted malts, some grass. Sweet and bitter taste, very complex. Smooth, thick and chewy finished bitter and sweet. Very easy to drink complex flavors make this a distinct brew.

Huge flavor and feel for a low abv beer.

A finger of tan head on a pitch black body. The aroma is strong burnt malt. The taste is roasted malt, a touch of chocolate and only the mildest bitterness at the end. The texture is, well, velvety smooth with low carbonation. The burnt malt dominates here, which I like. Itís a top stout.
