COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

Toasted dark chocolate, with a chalky mouthfeel. Very smooth, easy to drink; almost like chocolate milk.

Tap at brewpub. Black pour with tan foam. Aroma is rich chocolate, roast, and some coffee. Taste is dominated by smooth and rich chocolate followed by roast, oats, coffee, and a small amount of malt sweetness. Contrasting hop bitterness on the finish as well. Even, creamy mouthfeel. Excellent.

Black mud/cola with tan head. Aroma is light burnt grain. Body is creamy carbonation on moderately silky smooth feel. Flavor is light dark chocolate, moderate burnt toast (yum), some graininess and bitterness.. The burnt flavor is a step up from the usual and make the beer somewhat exceptional. Another fine offering from FW!

Dark brown pour with a quickly dissipating head. Some burnt cocoa aroma. Cocoa and coffee are definitely there, but a roasted lactic flavor a well. It wasn’t bad, but I don’t think I would buy this again.

Deep brown with a clingy tan foam. Chocolate, nuts, and oats in the aroma. Black malt dryness with a thinner body. Finish is dry. Not as thick as I expected from the oats but still respectable.

A - Pours a dark brown-black with a finger of frothy khaki-chocolate colored head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of roasted milk chocolate with some oats, coffee, and a hint of vanilla. T - Starts off with roasted milk chocolate with a bit of vanilla. Through the middle, some coffee comes through alongside a bit more vanilla. The finish is a mix of roasted milk chocolate with some coffee and vanilla. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth and a bit creamy with a sweet and lightly roasted finish. D - Very drinkable. Nicely balanced with a really good smooth mouthfeel.
