3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 12 oz bottle poured at home. Pours a deep cola brown with a thick tan head that recedes leaving lots of lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate. Flavors of milk chocolate with some mild licorice notes. Mild bitter finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The initial aroma smelled of molassis with nodes of cough drop. This turned to a sweet raisin smell followed by caramel. The appearance is fantastic, although more head would of been desirable. The stout is medium bodied and creamy with a clean, smooth bitterness. Overall a very drinkable beer that I would recommend.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Damn! What a tasty beer especially for such a low ABV! Aroma was nice and full. Coffee, dark chocolate and just a small hint of vanilla. Pour was a deep dark brown with a thin tan ring for a head. Taste was huge and full. The dark chocolate and coffee flavors were mouth filling and strong. Nice creamy mouth feel with nice strong carbonation. Great beer!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma is nice, roasted coffee. Taste is full on coffee and roasted malt. There?s very little bitterness on the back end. Surprising this wasn?t more bitter...but it?s a pleasant surprise.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a very well balanced and smooth stout. Pours black with a tan head. Lacing is minimal. The aromas are great - coffee, roasted malt, caramel, and slight hints of alcohol. The body is light and creamy from the oats. Overall a very good and easy drinking stout.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A decent stout, but not overly impressive. A bit heavier on the espresso than the cocoa. The bitterness overpowers the flavors by a bit. Not bad, just not great.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours very dark brown; no light coming through it at all. Looks black in the glass. Amazing smell of roasted malt, chocolate, and perhaps a bit of leather. Taste has some coffee in there as well as some dark chocolate. Silky, creamy mouth feel is unreal considering this is a 5.5 abv beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours dark brown with a good sized tan head. The aroma has cream, dark chocolate, deep roast, char and a hint of coffee. It has a medium body that is pretty lush and has gentle soft carbonation. The taste begins with smooth roastiness, dry chocolate/cocoa, hints of vanilla and a nice roundedness to everything. There is a hint of lightly earthy hops on the finish, but the smooth dry cocoa taste really takes forefront throughout. Very nice.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Oats and caramel aroma. Great taste of malt and oats and figs. Not too sweet. Short and boozy finish. Overall very flavorful oatmeal stout without being too sweet.
