A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

12 bottle poured into pint glass. A hazy brown beer with a redish shine under a tan head. The aroma has notes of straw, roasted malt, and metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and a bit of wood, leading to a dry and roasted finish. The body is medium. Carbonation is soft.

Pours black with a one finger tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt. Taste of coffee, chocolate, and slight bourbon. I am pleased that the bourbon does not assert itself more heavily. Just the right amount of it to compliment the actual stout. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. Nice job.

Tap - Nice black pour with great lace. Cocoa nose and roasted nose. Middle was missing and finish lacked.

12 oz. bottle- Pours dark brown to black with a one finger tan head that reduces to a collar. Aroma is wow, in your face espresso and chocolate, yummy. The taste is sweet and smooth, roasted chocolate malts, coffee, very little bitterness. Body is a little thin, I was expecting it to be mouth coating thick goodness, but itís more on the light side similar to a porter. I dig it.

On tap at Caponeís. On Nitro. Dark brown pour with a smaller sized off white head. I would have put this as an oatmeal stout. Lots of oats, with chocolate, roast, wood, and some vanilla. Bitter chocolate in the finish.

A black beer here with a fairly tall tan head. The head is dense and mousse like. Nice contrast. Aroma of rich roasted malts and coffee and chocolate. I didnít pickup any oak barrels or whiskey in the nose. Roasted malts are dominate in the taste not overpowering but just the first thing you taste upon first sip. Accent flavors includes coffee and bittersweet chocolate and suggestive hints of oak and spirits. Fuggle hops lend just a light bittering to this stoudt. Mouthfeel is a bit thin for a stout but none the less itís smooth and easy drinking. An excellent well made stout smooth and creamy with layers of flavor. That being said, I would like to see the carbos pumped up a bit as well as an increase in head size for appearance purposes. I also think itís a bit thin giving a washed down feel. As stated previous, I would drink this beer many more times... and with glee

Tap @ Humpyís. Dark brown almost black with a creamy light tan head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel and dark roasted coffee. Flavor is semi-sweet chocolate, bitter roasted malt and some cereal. Medium to full body with average carbonation and a thick, creamy mouth feel. Solid stout.
