COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

12 oz bottle as an extra from Wavers1. Thanks, Baker! Pours a pretty dark blackish hue, perhaps some brownish edges, but quite dark and opaque. A decent frothy tannish brown head cakes atop, laces ok, and sits atop very nicely. Aromas are oatmeal and roasted barley, sweet with cocoa, toffee, and some creaminess, silky sweet and dark malts, touches of earthy nuttiness it seems. Initial is medium bodied, but lighter end of it, silky and creamy oatmeal, toffee, biscuits coupled with sweet and bitter cocoa, earthiness, peanuts, smoke and roasted barley, darker malts, yet silky, the roast is good, but the oatmeal and creamy sweetness, perhaps a touch of lactose and cream, vanilla and silky stout malts. Gentle and palatable, perhaps a touch of marshmellow. Solid sweet stout, lighter bodied and not anywhere near cloying. Quite drinkable, a little sweet and slanted creamy quality. Still, delivers as advertised

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy tan head that left rapidly. Aroma is a hint of bourbon with lots of chocolate and smooth burnt malt. Near full body. Flavor is chocolate, smooth burnt malt and hints of bourbon/oak. This one could do for breakfast. Very tasty.

12oz. bottle. Pours black with a small head. It has a coffee aroma with a bit of roastiness. Flavor is bitter and roasty, but nothing too much. I do not get much of the bourbon at all. The mouthfeel is smooth but a bit on the thing side. Overall it is solid and something I would drink again, but not something I would seek out.

Black with a small head. Aroma is black coffee and roasted nuts. Flavor is bitter and roasty, but actually very approachable. The mouthfeel is very thin, which is the only thing Iím taking away points for. However, compared to some other stouts Iíve had recently, this is just underwhelming. Itís still very good though.

Pours very dark brown with an average amount of whitish head that is gone before you know it. Roasted coffee is the dominant aroma, with some chocolate and oatmeal sourness in there. Taste is similar, with more of the oatmeal malt going with the coffee well. Earthy, with some dirt in both nose and taste. Carbonation is minimal but adequate. Very solid mouthfeel feeds into the great finish of the malty coffee. Drinkability is excellent. Very good oatmeal stout.
