3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
355 mL bottle. Looks like a stout. Not much head. Super roasty in the nose. Almost burnt toast. Strong aroma. Espresso. Nice. The flavour is not as big as the aroma. Everything is muted and muddled. Still good, though. Could use a little more bitterness too.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle into stout glass. Looks like a stout. Not a lot of aroma - some mild notes of dark chocolate. Slightly bitter dry full bodied beer. Not as creamy a mouth feel as I hoped based on the commercial deScription. Chocolate notes. Good solid stout. Will go back to it.

Tap. Murky light chocolate brown, thin khaki head. Dark fruit and some roast and toast in the aroma, with some slight malty sweetness. Flavor is similar, sweet malty fruit notes, touch of vanilla, toast and oats at the end. Medium to lighter body that’s silky.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a black color with a quickly dissipating tan head and little lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and some chocolate. The taste is coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar, and milk. It’s pretty smooth and creamy. This is a good stout.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle from Total Wine and More The stout poured a dark brown with small tan head that dissipated very quickly with no lacing. The aroma was of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. This is a nice stout very smooth and very complex in its flavors. Coffee and chocolate are blended together from the beginning until the last swallow. The stout has a medium body with soft carbonation..

Cocoa, dry roasted coffee, creamy, dry finish. Much talked about. Lived up to expectations.
