Pours a dark ruby red with a tan head. The aroma had the sent of chard malt. The taste was of watered down malt. The body was to thin for a stout and it had a bitter aftertaste.Overall a bad stout.

12oz bottle. Pours a light bodied dark brown with not much of a head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and some roasted malt. Maybe a hair of tinny metallic notes too. Light bodied and kinda dry for a stout, flavors heavier on the bittersweet chocolate side with some coffee. Slightly roasty and dry with some bitter hops in the finish. For an oatmeal stout, it seems like there should be a little bigger body.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
A black beer here with a fairly tall tan head. The head is dense and mousse like. Nice contrast.
Aroma of rich roasted malts and coffee and chocolate. I didnít pickup any oak barrels or whiskey in the nose.
Roasted malts are dominate in the taste not overpowering but just the first thing you taste upon first sip. Accent flavors includes coffee and bittersweet chocolate and suggestive hints of oak and spirits. Fuggle hops lend just a light bittering to this stoudt.
Mouthfeel is a bit thin for a stout but none the less itís smooth and easy drinking. An excellent well made stout smooth and creamy with layers of flavor.
That being said, I would like to see the carbos pumped up a bit as well as an increase in head size for appearance purposes. I also think itís a bit thin giving a washed down feel. As stated previous, I would drink this beer many more times... and with glee

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours black, with a very small tan head that quickly fades. Nose is cocoa and coffee, and the taste follows the nose. Very smooth, well balanced stout, with a creamy mouth feel and a nice short finish. Delicious.

Aroma of roast, chocolate, and bitter coffee. Taste is bubbly with some more chocolate, oats, faint coffee and some bitter vinous. Finishes with more smooth chocolate.

Black in color with a mocha-colored head that descipated quickly. Poor lacing. Malty notes(peanuts and chocolate). Thin texture with low carbonation. The beer taste like burnt grain. The finish is long and leaves a sticky residue in your mouth. This beer should have had a bigger body but it was just to watery for me.
