COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

this one is good. at bevmo for 5.99 or something close. one of my favorite breweries.. wasnít expecting anything bad. didnít get anything i didnít expect. this brewery is hard. i drank all of em, but firestone really doesnít play around. donít make this impossible to buy later! limited release? donít do me like that. better stout than iíve had in a long time. this is a five value wise. a seven even. Iím just pretending i paid what i normally would for a beer of this quality.. thats why the 4.2 . makes no sense i know! lagunitas cappucino stout still wins but this is incredible for the price. donít limit me, paso robles.

Black in color with a mocha-colored head that descipated quickly. Poor lacing. Malty notes(peanuts and chocolate). Thin texture with low carbonation. The beer taste like burnt grain. The finish is long and leaves a sticky residue in your mouth. This beer should have had a bigger body but it was just to watery for me.

Aroma of roast, chocolate, and bitter coffee. Taste is bubbly with some more chocolate, oats, faint coffee and some bitter vinous. Finishes with more smooth chocolate.

Color is jet black, with white head very little lacing. Aroma is one of smokey wood and charred dark chocolate. Taste slight roast, light coffee, dark chocolate and smooth cream on the back end. Very nice indeed. This is one of the most complex oatmeal stouts ever.

MarinaMarket (219) - POULSBO, Washington, USA - JUN 13, 2011
Pours dark brown with a nice tan head with good retention. Aroma is roasted grain, leather, brown sugar and a hint of vanilla. Roasty burnt malt flavor, some light bittering on the finish. Definitely salty, chocolate, licorice, and toasted grain flavors. Medium bodied with a lasting flavor. Tasted from the bottle @ 57F.

Black pour, amber on the edges, tan head, good retention. Sweet roasted malt aroma with hints of chocolate & coffee. Medium body, light carbonation. Starts off sweet then slowly moves to dry and mildly bitter balancing it all out. Pretty good stuff.

Pours a dark brown with minimal khaki colored head and no lacing. There is a nice roastiness in the aroma along with some dark chocolate and coffee notes. Taste follows the nose. Smooth but the body is on the light side and the finish is dry and slightly bitter. Carbonation is also low making this a very easy drinking beer. Firestone Walker produces excellent beers.

Pours a deep brown black with a thin of white head. Strong aroma of the oatmeal with a bit of burnt malt. Thin mouthfeel if an oatmeal stout, burnt oatmeal flavor at the beginning, with a slight roasted malt after flavor. Not bad for an oatmeal stout.

Pours dark - very small tan head. Smells carmely/sugary. Almost a bit watery up front - slowly draws out a nice roasted coffee aftertaste.

Deep dark winter stout. Lots of coffee and creamy roastyness. The nose is a little soft. Pretty high carbonation might be adding to bitterness and taking away from something otherwise very very good.
