COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

Aroma: chocolatey and coffee; malty; Appearance: extremely dark ruby red with thin, white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: very smooth and rich; more complex than the average stout; Palate; heavy body with smooth, malty finish; Overall: quite good; would buy again.

Dark chocolate, roasted barley, earthy hops, and just the slightest hint of toffee make a uniform, well-put-together nose. The mouthfeel is medium, with a creamy body and medium carbonation. The taste is bitter, mostly from the roasted grain but also from the hops, with a suggestion of caramely sweetness toward the end and lingering roasted flavors. Comforting and appeasing, very straightforward; better for prolonged sessions than for easy sipping.

Coffee and dark, bitter chocolate. Very drinkable, light body. Good lacing, my kind of stout-highly attenuated.

Black with a small head that gave no lacing. Roasted coffee, cocoa, cream nose. Taste is roasted malts with very little bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice brew, not my favorite stout though.

Bottle into stout glass. Looks like a stout. Not a lot of aroma - some mild notes of dark chocolate. Slightly bitter dry full bodied beer. Not as creamy a mouth feel as I hoped based on the commercial deScription. Chocolate notes. Good solid stout. Will go back to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Milky silky chocolate roast. Nice flavorful beer. Smells a little burnt. Nice flavor for the ABV. I was enjoying this one night when I realized how late it was and that I had to go to bed. Left quarter of a glass in my minifridge, what the heck - would lose its carb but still be drinkable. Well it was fine several days later when I went back to it, no carb at all but still good flavor. And now my minifridge smells like it, which is kinda nice.

Pours nearly opaque, black, with a medium mocha head. Moderate lacing, really nice retention. Nose is rich, chocolaty, mild coffee notes. Rich, velvety as all get-out. Sweet with some nice lactose, and just a hint of barrel-aged character. Really damn good. Very glad to have been able to try it.
