3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dark brown with a light beige head comprised of larger bubbles. Aroma of malts, raisins and chocolate. Light coffee flavor with a hint of dark bitter chocolate. Pleasant in the mouth and the flavor lasts and lasts. Plenty of body without being at all heavy, especially for an oatmeal stout.

Bottle, smoky, chocolate and espresso nose. Mmm.Red/orange highlights in the clear dark beer, Nice retention. Palate is full, a bit of bite to it, not super smooth, gets increasingly grittier with tons of dark and charred malts. Decent cold weather beer.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured from the bottle. Dark brown with a small lite brown head that faded quickly. Smells like wet oatmeal, coffee, and cocoa. Roasted malt dominates the palate at first but it slowly mellows out with caramel and vanilla. Medium body, nice beer overall.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep brown black with a thin of white head. Strong aroma of the oatmeal with a bit of burnt malt. Thin mouthfeel if an oatmeal stout, burnt oatmeal flavor at the beginning, with a slight roasted malt after flavor. Not bad for an oatmeal stout.

Don’t even need to get the beer too close to my nose to smell the roastiness, coffee, dark chocolate aroma. Taste is similar. Very creamy, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa. very decadent. Velvety smooth.

Deep dark brown/black with frothy light brown head. Light burnt roasty. Cocoa. Caramel. Dusty coffee. Maybe vanilla. Light medium body. Smooth, semi creamy. Nice balance of sweet and roasty. Not bitter really. Overall quite a nice stout.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Color is jet black, with white head very little lacing. Aroma is one of smokey wood and charred dark chocolate. Taste slight roast, light coffee, dark chocolate and smooth cream on the back end. Very nice indeed.
This is one of the most complex oatmeal stouts ever.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark chocolate, roasted barley, earthy hops, and just the slightest hint of toffee make a uniform, well-put-together nose. The mouthfeel is medium, with a creamy body and medium carbonation. The taste is bitter, mostly from the roasted grain but also from the hops, with a suggestion of caramely sweetness toward the end and lingering roasted flavors. Comforting and appeasing, very straightforward; better for prolonged sessions than for easy sipping.
