Bomber. Pours black with a dense one-finger latte-colored head. Holding the beer to a strong light reveals a ruby red interior. Enticing aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark roasted malt and light smoke. The taste is even better - lots of semi-sweet chocolate, dark roasted coffee and a hint of oak. A pleasant bitterness from the generous quantity of hops lingers on the tongue and balances the beer nicely. The body is moderately thick and smooth, with no detectable carbonation. This is a terrific porter - I enjoyed it from start to finish.

A decent sessionable porter that I would never have know about without my Portland trading partner, Chewy. Thanks man! Aroma was so so. A slight alcoholic mix of roasted chocolate malt and cereal. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with a light tan ring around the top for a head. Taste was a little thin and light but good. A little oily, with chocolate malt and coffee in the front and a wet watery aftertaste. All in all an OK beer.

Roasted malt aroma with maybe some molasses and florals.
Pours a pitch black color, minimal tan head, evident sediment in bottle, and can’t see the action.
Roasted malt taste, with coffee, some chocolate, butter background, and mild hop florals.
Full bodied, resinous, bready, buttery, with soft carbonation.
Session Porter that is well balanced.

22oz pours to a medium head with dark brown color. Fantastic aroma of chocolate malt and roasted notes. Flavor is fantastic. Lots of roast, chocolate, coffee. Smooth, drinkable, and delicious. Best porter I’ve had in a long time.

22 ounce bottle thanks Kegbear poured into a pint glass. A nice dark pour that is reddish dark.
Good aroma. kind of malty with a bit of chocolate in the aftertaste. A bit thin for a porter in my opinion but damn good nonetheless

22 w/ mpersinger. Pours dark brown with off-white head. Oaky flavor with some oats (which I had noted a wheat taste), some chocolate, some roasted aspects, seemingly light bodied and just was not robust enough, if at all.

A- Pours a dark, rich brown/almost black hue with a creamy brown head that is small but mostly sustaining, small amounts of lace
S- Lighter aroma of coffee and chocolate, some slight alcohol in the background
T- Well-balanced porter with initial taste of coffee and chocolate, some oak tones and dry, bitter aftertaste with hints of grass/earthiness
M- Light/medium-bodied, watery and creamy texture, adequate carbonation
D- At 5.9%abv, this is a smooth drinking porter, this is a good, but not great, choice that does little to stand out in this genre
