Bottle shared with the guys at the Barrios’ 500th Swallow Tasting. At least 2 years old, it pours a great dark brown with fair light tan head and decent lacing. Great chocolate nose, some soy, brown sugar joins in the flavor. Decently silky mouthfeel. Some weird bitter cardboardy finish, but easily overlooked. Very good actually.

2008 bottle sampled in 2009. Pours translucent blackish brown with a lacy tan head. Aroma of brown sugar, chocolate, roasted nuts with just a thin pine edge. Creamy medium body. Sweet taste of chocolate, coffee, pine and citrus with just enough pine on the finish to clean things up nicely.
