aspidites (1268), manteca, California, USA Mar 1, 2008 Herbal and grassy nose with wafts of bready malt. Mild citrus and biscuit notes on the palate. Clean and easy drinking session brew. Dougal (130), Escondido, California, USA Mar 3, 2003 The worst of the Firestone line in bottles. Nice golden colro but somewht skunky on the nose and palate. Hops blended with a mulching grass smell. Not rich enough to warrant a a world class Pale rating. Too young. 666seth (219), California, USA Jan 17, 2003 Golden in color with a nice floral aroma. Hoppy taste present with malts to round up. Nice Blake (204), Orange, California, USA Dec 5, 2002 12/4/2002 - Had on tap at Callahan’s A dark yellow/gold color beer with a slight head, I found the aroma of this pale to be fruity, but a bit weak. Overall, I found the flavor lacking for a Pale Ale and while easy to drink, I was not overly impressed. Kaya161 (1129), Aspen, Colorado, USA Nov 18, 2002 Golden colour with a white head. Citrusy hop aroma. Dry bitter flavour with a hint of malt underneath. A good APA, but what keeps it from being great is the lack of complexityt in hop flavour.
