Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some dark grains with lots of earthiness and musty as well as a hint of roasted malts. Flavor has some dark grains, light roast and even a hint of bitterness.

Decent brown ale but needs some work. Slightly roasted aroma. Dark brown and almost looked like a stout with a small head. Average weight with lower carbonation. Had creaminess like a milk stout. Roasted malt and nutty flavors. Not a strong hops presence. OK first impression.

One of the worst beers I have ever had. If you like your beer to taste like a band aid than look no further.
