This is a Texas-sized beer. It has a slightly elevated gravity and a clean, lively bitterness that some may associate with that of a mild IPA. Being unfiltered it will pour slightly hazy, rich amber in color, and should be accompanied with a noticeable, well lacing head.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2013 On tap, poured into a pint glass. Aroma is slightly hoppy. Color is a muddled copper. The beer is VERY cloudy, which is completely unsatisfactory for a commercial beer in this style. Taste is slightly hoppy, not much else to it. Average carbonation. As a homebrewer, I have easily made better beers on the first try. Being a new brewery, I hope they improve upon this beer. 10-09-2013 UPDATE Had this again after they improved the recipe. Improved the clarity of the beer but still not clear as style indicates. Beer tastes a lot better! Still not much of an aroma. Most bitterness is on the back end and not much on the front.

Tap at the gingerman. The look is clear, amber in color, with a nice off white head. The smell is fruity, hops, citrus, sorta light. The taste is hoppy, very fruity, citrus, and ok.

On tap at the Common Table. The beer pours a very dark amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is a mix of resinous pine and orange citrus notes, as well as some toffee malt. The flavor is not near as good as the aroma. I get a ton of bitter hop notes, as well as some metallic notes and some resin from the hops. The off-flavor notes really dominate the beer and I was not able to finish my pint. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. This is a new brewery and I am sure they will get better as they gain more experience, but this was not a good beer.
