On tap at Niagara. Clear golden yellow with no head. This lager is really great. Clean, crisp, and smooth. I plan to have much more in the future.

2011-07-08. Crisp sort of straw coloured golden body with a small white head. 3+ Odd aroa, straw, light citrus? Bit muddled and mild but not unpleasant. 6+ Flavour has a decent amount of bitterness, lightly astringent citrus, bit of grassy straw. Average palate. Okay. Bottle shared by JoeMcPhee

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2012 Bottle from a six-pack. Pours a nice yellow with a large white head. Aroma has a lot of grain husks and pale malt, musty, hay, with a nice addition of citrus hops. Flavour has more sweet malt backbone but with a sour tinge, but sour in a citrusy hop kind of way. Not sure if it’s hop extract or legitimate hops. Decently tasty malt grain flavours in this serviceable lager. My only major complaint is that it develops that weird dish-soap off-flavour a lot of lagers tend to get. But it’s nice to see these guys getting products into the LCBO.

Pours a deep yellow with a thin quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is sweet honey maltiness with a very light hop. Taste has a pretty good malt profile for a lager, slightly sweet with a low grassy hop. Not bad for a lager.

[3808-20110708] 355mL bottle. Blueberry fruity aroma. Clear, pale orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Light fruit yeast flavour. Light body. Refreshing, light, not bad. (6/3/6/3/12) 3.0

Pale golden pour. A little bit cidery with a touch of diacetyl. Crisp with a bit of clean pale malt. A bit of soft herbal hoppiness. Subtly spicy. It’s decent.

July 8, 2011 - with blankboy, joemcphee, jerc and mabel. 341ml bottle from joemcphee. Pale clear yellow, small quick diminishing fizzy white head (3-). Aroma of clover, light ginger, honey, some light floral bitterness - mostly just mild. Taste has much more bitterness, a nice bite to it, if generic - not harsh. Extremely carbonated, light bodied, quite crisp, surprisingly dry with a medium length dried grassy finish - but the bitterness turns a bit harsh in the aftertaste, a little gritty.

355 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a somewhat cloudy golden yellow with modest-sized white head. Aroma is very honeyish grains with grass and a light citrusy note. Flavour is also quite grainy/honeyish with a sourish grassy hopiness and a little citrus. Bit of butteriness too. Modestly crisp finish. Not great but a serviceable lager.

Bottle (355ml) shared with HogTownHarry, JoeMcPhee, jerc & mabel -- c/o JoeMcPhee. Pours a clear very pale gold with a spare fizzy white head. Aroma: Smells alright but it’s quite mild, it’s fruity along with some corn and vegetal notes. Flavour’s not as good, it’s watery and corny along with vegetal notes and sugar sweetness. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. Not for me.
