Io la trovo piacevole nelle serate estive in compagnia di amici. Birra ambrata dalla Schiuma color crema.Dolce al palato (caramello, agrumi) con un leggerissimo retrogusto affumicato.Finale secco e dissetante. Non eccelsa... ma nemmeno una pessima birra!

Amber beer with foamy head. Malty aroma. Extremely sweet. Whiskey and lemonade flavours make it more like an alcopop than a beer.

50 cl can from Cora. Beer in the glass is amber, smell is sweet-malty. The beer starts sweet-smoked. The smoky-malty notes are nice, but the sweetness is too much - it covers nearly all of the nice smokey flavours and leaves a sticky sweetish mouthfeel. Aftertaste is mainly sweet, smokey flavours covered.... --> sadly much too sweet! won’t drink it again... --> 4/12/3/3

Halve literblik. Donkergeel, veel schuim bij het inschenken. Ruikt zoetig, mais, grenadine. Smaakt nepzoet, limonadeachtig, vage whiskysmaak. Niet zo goed.

Interesting taste that pulls a little to the Innis & Gunn with sweet barrel flavors rather than smokiness. Relatively refreshing and healthy thirst quencher.

500ml can from some grocery store in Nice, France. Pours a crystal clear, richer golden, copper tinted body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is fairly sweet with some caramel hints, grain, a light buttery note, and some peat hints. Flavor is very sweet and sticky up front. Some buttery, grainy caramels with light peat notes. Finishes sweet and sticky with a slight woody peat note before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Medium, sticky body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, not a good beer. Sticky, sweet, and pretty artificial tasting.

330ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear orange amber colour; Very thin head and off-white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Near-zero lacing with fizzy carbonation; Pungent smell of malt, skunk, sugar syrup, grains, orange and grass; Cloying sweet taste of thin malt and rice grain, with honey, thick sugar syrup, light orange, whiskey note, wet cardboard, faint trace of citrus, and very light grass; Medium body, thick, oily and cloying palate; Hoppiness is strong in grassy smell, none in citrus taste and minimal in bitterness; Slighty dry after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: Cloyingly sweet taste and hellbound syrupy palate sum up this swill. The whiskey gimmick simply doesn’t work here, as it has no smokiness or earthy taste whatsoever. All the smell and taste elements - be that good or bad - were overwhelmed by the syrups. Never trust anyone who can make decent Scotch Ale other then the Scottish!
