2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can’t believe this used to be my favorite beer as a teenage student :) Basically mostly sweet caramel with a touch of toothpaste, and some mild scotch malt aroma and finish. Not dreadful but more of an caramel beer soda...

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Used to be one of my favourite beers some 20 years ago, hard to understand why today.
Sugary maltiness is more or less all there is to find.
The 4 euros I had to pay on the seafront bar for this beer didn’t improve the tasting experience either...

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: Clear deep golden color with a small white heahat end up in a tiny layer. Some lacing.
Aroma: Mild fruity, malty and mild scotch.
Palate: Medium (+) body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Malty, raisins, fruity and a mild scotch.
Overall impression: Not my style. And I have never rated a beer that have 0 in style before. It was absolutely drinkable. Nothing wrong with it, but not anything to write home about either.
Personal stats: Can from Gundersen.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from a street market within the Latin Quarter of Paris, France. This is among the strangest beers I have ever had. It tastes nothing like it smells. The aroma is of stale pipe tobacco. But the flavor is sweet and mellow like watered down whiskey. There is an aftertaste of scotch, its subtle but still present. I dont hate nor like this. It is just very, VERY odd!!!!

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20

Definitely not a beer. Some people like it some others not but when you like it you find it quite ok.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This smoked beer style features a strong malt whiskey flavour with obvious smoked peat. It pours a creamy head and has a bubbly murky amber colour. The aroma is sweet malty whisky, which continues into the flavour with a light smoke. It happens to be sweet and dry with a quick finish. There’s a light aftertaste of dried dates, and overall the impression is a little too sweet.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Half liter can in wrong glassware. Nose is caramel and metal. Butterscotch flavor. Very sweet with light smoke. I find memories of this beer but today it’s just to sweet and a poor example of the style. Sad face. Was the third style I’d ever had, after pale lager and brown ale. Flat despite tons of bubbles and huge head.
