Pours a nice amber color. Very little in the nose. Decent head with beautiful lace. Flavor was malty with a skunky middle. Very little hop and a weak finish. I wouldn’t buy it again. Poured a honey color with a thin head. Floral, skunky-malt aroma. Taste like champagne and hops with other flavors like pasta. Pretty gross and a terrible beer. TheBeerBaron (219), Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Clear dark amber, quick fading white head but a nice lace. Moderate bubbles floating to the top of the glass. Aroma is malty but mouldy or horseblanket. I guess you can say earthy but not the best of aroma. Very light mouthfeel not highly carbonated it’s watery if anything. Light flavor, slightly nutty and bready. The hops are very minimal lending to a sweet taste. This Frenchy model beats your average supermarket import but doesn;t stack up to true English ales that bring more of an old world character to your tastebuds. llcooldave (319), San Antonio, Texas, USA

Poured a soapy looking head with a nice slightly cloudy amber color. Musky aroma when first poured but it eventually dissipates. Clean tasting, light hops and malt flavor. It’s kinda heavy on the palate with light carbonation. I expected a little better but it is smooth and drinkable. At least it comes with a pop top bottle to save for future home brewing projects. patrick767 (2019), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 25, 2007 bottle - Pours clear amber with a one finger head. It smells and tastes mainly of sweet caramel malt. It’s smooth, finishes clean, and is a bit lacking overall. dmac (1444), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 16, 2007 22 oz bottle. Pours a thin looking honey brown with a bubly white head. Perfumey nutty aroma that reminds me of a combintion of nuts and Obsession for men, wierd huh?? Medium bodied with lively carbonation that goes down easy. Flavor is an improvement over the stank aroma. Nutty for the most part with lots of malts, reminds me of an English ESB or Nut Brown. Doesn’t look good, smells flat out bad but suprisingly tastes okay. Would I buy this again, NO. Would I drink it if you gave me one....waht else you got?? Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
