Commercial Description:
A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

22oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is light/medium fruit-including apple, malt/grain. Taste follows, some adjuncts? Easy drinking. Mild carbonation.

6 pack from the grocers. brown cool shaped bottle that was built for ease of drinking, amber color, a kind of nasty like after-taste which I got used to after a couple, tasted more like an old ale rather than an amber

1 pt., 6 fl. novelty bottle. Pours a beautiful rich golden color, with a ample white head that quickly dissapears. Some minor lacing noted. Aroma is very faint and nutty. Unlike the appearance there is not much else to say about this beer that is good. Flavor is sort of Diet Coke saccharine like and salt with a few hops thrown in as an afterthought. Mouthfeel is watery, with a slight fizz. Finish is short, weak hops, and with a disturbing chemical sweetness. There is also an astringent metallic aftertaste. Sorry, but I can not help but feel that some poor brewer is tring to emulate Bud to appeal to the American idiot market. Not likely to try again. Addendum: I ended up pouring this down the drain. I just could not handle the strange saccharine aftertaste, it was starting to make me nauseous. Had to fry some bacon and drink a V-8 to cleanse my palate. Consider the 1.8 rating very generous.

malty aroma (hint of yeast?); one inch white head disappears to 1/8; long, balanced finish; a refreshing beer, good on a hot day

Medium gold color with decent head. Slight hop aroma. Fairly sweet taste is not offensive, but nothing special. Too sweet to be truly refreshing.

dont judge a book by its cover on this one, the bottle looks great.... need i say more. smells of cereal and spice and a little salty undertones. looks clear, golden amber in color and a white foam the taste is light sweetness and salty. has a light body, sticky palate, lively carbonation. leaves a film aftertaste. not that great overall.

Bottle:Clear gold with a small white head and sticky lacing. The aroma is grainy and skunkish and the flavor is watery. Not much to the beer, but then on the other hand, not terribly offensive either. The aftertaste is quite sweet.

Brown bottle - see the illustration to the left. Light aroma of grassy hop. Sort of a lager smell. Brassy gold color. Sort of a mass produced lager color. Huge frothy white head that laces. Ok, not a lager thing. Medium body. Fruity flavor, and not a great deal of malt. Ok, it’s not lager. The sweetness tends to fade, the finish is relatively dry, and there is some bitter. There is light floral all over this. I am impressed. Based on BeerBelcher’s experience: Don’t buy it, unless it looks somewhat like the picture. Hey, it’s fun to push the wires!
