The aroma is grainy and skunkish and the flavor is watery. Not much to the beer, but then on the other hand, not terribly offensive either. The aftertaste is quite sweet. bhensonb (4243), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2007 Brown bottle - see the illustration to the left. Light aroma of grassy hop. Sort of a lager smell. Brassy gold color. Sort of a mass produced lager color. Huge frothy white head that laces. Ok, not a lager thing. Medium body. Fruity flavor, and not a great deal of malt. Ok, it’s not lager. The sweetness tends to fade, the finish is relatively dry, and there is some bitter. There is light floral all over this. I am impressed. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 22, 2007 I was at Consumer Beerage today, I saw this in the cooler, and I can’t say I can remember seeing it elsewhere so I picked it up (the price was right). The flavor is metallic and doesn’t satisfy any of the reasons for which I drink beer. I can’t say i would recommend this to anyone.
Packaging was a clear bottle (which, knowing the effect of light on beer I always find disconcerting unless it’s Miiler High Life). Appearance is a dark amber/copper color with great head formation and retention. Aroma is a musty, sour, off-putting smell with a bit of caramel malt. Flavor was malty and metallic, a bit overly sweet, and generally unpleasant. Not good. bboeckl (133), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 9, 2007 Updated: May 12, 2007Bottle. Poured an amber brown with small head. Taste was a bitter, little bit of carmel malt in the background, Not complex. Not a whole lot going on. Carmel, malt, and hops, possibly a little vanilla. Very drinkable but not anywhere near a wow. Mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery. Boring. Not a great beer but I find it a wee bit underrated on this site. I would drink again. I only paid $1 for a .6 liter bottle! TheCEO (100), USA

Their Beer is merde. This stems from the fact that they look down upon Beer..and generally don’t really give a damn about it..but I sure do. riversideAK (2671), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 26, 2007 Initial aroma is some aluminum, some adjunct, a little sweet malt, and cinnamon. This beer is more of a dark gold than amber. The flavor is, surprise, more metallic grainy adjunct sweetness. A slight crisp hop ending. A little alcohol can be detected. I guess there is something in here that reminds me of Bud Light, but it is definitley nowhere near as bad. In fact, for all of the metallic adjunctiness, I actually think it is pretty tasty. It is also quite a bit better as it warms, as more spiciness begins to surface and the adjunctiness takes a back seat. It also coats the palate, but it is a lighter medium bodied amber ale. Also very carbonated and obviously pasteurized. I can only imagine that this beer probably tastes a hundred times better in France, where it is fresh. JAF737300 (792), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 14, 2007 I really liked this Fischer beer. It pours a yellowish amber and has notes of nice hops and light spice. It has a good finish and a reasonable palate. After the initial surprise the brew mellows out. I’m not one to indulge in such sweetness or a brew with little bite.So one was enough for me.
