elshunko (8), USA does not count Jan 15, 2007 Very clean but no real strong taste. nice head and very carbonated. Finishes too clean.
+ swivel top - I don’t have to drink it all at once.
+ A great homebrew bottle!
biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Jan 7, 2007 Not very good... as the ratings indicate. Reminded me of like an amber malt liquor or something... a little sweet and really not much else to speak of. chef201atc (249), Weatherford, Texas, USA Dec 22, 2006 Sort of a dirty caramel color with a thin bubbly white head. Perfume and cherries on the nose. Thin watery mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Flavor is spice, perfume, and a bit of a sour finish. The best part about this beer is the bottle – it’ll be great for homebrew. DuffMan (2719), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Nov 18, 2006 Had this at the french restaurant on the 10th floor of the Eiffel Tower restaurant in the Paris hotel & casino Las Vegas. Clear amber orange, very brief head. Little aroma, faintly caramel I guess. Very light body, thin on flavour. An amber fit for the pale lager crowd. BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Nov 16, 2006 For anyone who’s visited the Alsace in France, you know the score. This beer doesn’t really do the region justice. This is more of holiday around a lake roasting pine cones. A decent amber ale though. Again roasted, almost burnt like crisp to the hops. Colour is a golden amber. Not well in the complexity nor balance, but i think it deserves a bit higher rating for being a mellow’d out recess with some flavour. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Nov 14, 2006 The bottle it comes in is nice and the beer is actually good value. You get a solid french brew that is tasty and has good head.rerrate........blah, bad taste...like metal and malt..buit outta a glass bottle, eek, thank god for HOL vs SERBIA(1-0)...not good this time, has to be a old bottle but i don’t know...i did finish it though so.. mansquito (819), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Nov 1, 2006 This is a horrible beer, whose only saving grace is the cool corked bottle. It smells really, skunky and gets progressively worse as it warms up. The beer itself is barely drinkable as it tastes of mediocre hops and is a little too sweet for my tastes. johnnydollar (35), greenville, South Carolina, USA Oct 27, 2006 my brother would like this and he drinks michilob ultra. i like it too. not and outstanding beer but an enjoyable one. at first this sweetish amber seems tasty and simple, but there are subtle aftertastes that make drinking all 22 ounces worthwile.
