Commercial Description:
A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

A nice earthy butter rum nose with a hint of caramel malt. Flavor lacks compared to nose, and gives a corn like flavor and mouthfeel.

Had this on a trip to France a few years back. Decent brew for a French beer. Cool bottle.

Very clean but no real strong taste. nice head and very carbonated. Finishes too clean. + swivel top - I don’t have to drink it all at once. + A great homebrew bottle!

Not very good... as the ratings indicate. Reminded me of like an amber malt liquor or something... a little sweet and really not much else to speak of.

Sort of a dirty caramel color with a thin bubbly white head. Perfume and cherries on the nose. Thin watery mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Flavor is spice, perfume, and a bit of a sour finish. The best part about this beer is the bottle – it’ll be great for homebrew.

Had this at the french restaurant on the 10th floor of the Eiffel Tower restaurant in the Paris hotel & casino Las Vegas. Clear amber orange, very brief head. Little aroma, faintly caramel I guess. Very light body, thin on flavour. An amber fit for the pale lager crowd.

For anyone who’s visited the Alsace in France, you know the score. This beer doesn’t really do the region justice. This is more of holiday around a lake roasting pine cones. A decent amber ale though. Again roasted, almost burnt like crisp to the hops. Colour is a golden amber. Not well in the complexity nor balance, but i think it deserves a bit higher rating for being a mellow’d out recess with some flavour.
