Flavor lacks compared to nose, and gives a corn like flavor and mouthfeel. Decent brew for a French beer.
Cool bottle. tomthompson89 (1474), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 7, 2007 Not very good... as the ratings indicate. Reminded me of like an amber malt liquor or something... a little sweet and really not much else to speak of. chef201atc (249), Weatherford, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 22, 2006 Sort of a dirty caramel color with a thin bubbly white head. Perfume and cherries on the nose. Thin watery mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Flavor is spice, perfume, and a bit of a sour finish. The best part about this beer is the bottle – it’ll be great for homebrew. DuffMan (2745), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2006 Had this at the french restaurant on the 10th floor of the Eiffel Tower restaurant in the Paris hotel & casino Las Vegas. Clear amber orange, very brief head. Little aroma, faintly caramel I guess. Very light body, thin on flavour. An amber fit for the pale lager crowd. BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 16, 2006 For anyone who’s visited the Alsace in France, you know the score. This beer doesn’t really do the region justice. This is more of holiday around a lake roasting pine cones. A decent amber ale though. Again roasted, almost burnt like crisp to the hops. Colour is a golden amber. Not well in the complexity nor balance, but i think it deserves a bit higher rating for being a mellow’d out recess with some flavour.
