It as okay to begin with, with a nice amber color and thickish white head, but it was a little sour and had too much of a caramel flavor to it. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 21, 2006 This is really bad beer. The experience starts off pleasent enough with a nice amber pour topped by a well retained off white head. That’s the end of the good news. The aroma is sour and lactic and let you know that the taste is going to be unpleasent. A sip confirms this as the initial flavor is bad sour with a small amount of caramel malt in the background. The off sour flavor is disturbing. Still, I will take this over Hurricane High Gravity any day. cowboy7096 (55), Arlington, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2006 I raelly enjoy these types of beers after a hard day of work. It has a nice brownish amber color and a medium head that hands around for a min. It was real smooth and refreshing with a nice mild bitter taste, good thrist quenching beer. Like I said, I enjoy these types of beer after work because it’s refreshing and smooth and won’t bombard me with flavor. Tyler*Durden (71), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Nothing special here. Nice colour...amber and clear, with a white dissipating head. A bit of a yeasty smell and indistinctive taste. Overall an inoffensive amber ale. IrishBoy (2705), Bakersfield, California, USA

Weak and watered-down, but with this beer and it’s slightly off flavors, that’s a good thing. Weak tea- type amber pour, with a very slight caramel nose. Some musty caramel flavor, that I kept wishing would go away, but never did.! Somewhere out there I KNOW there is a decent French beer! burpfrank (292), carpinteria, California, USA
