| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 26, 2006 22 oz fliptop bottle... thin weak lager-ish metallic aroma, with less malt apparent than yeasty off-flavors. not offensive-smelling, but certainly not enticing. nothing particularly amber about this beer, either - more of a dark straw or pale copper. flavor is light and malty, with a decent balance; but it’s easy to balance something that’s barely there to begin with - fresh hoppy finish (not the aftertaste, but rather the last flavor on your tongue), but otherwise too resemblant to apple cider to be any good. Clear light amber pour with an average frothy white head that diminished quickly. Medium caramel malt aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Average sweet flavor with a moderate finish. Good looking bottle for an below average amber ale. Yeggo (37), USA

I wish i could get some of the Paris version again. The US version was pale, insipid and very bitter sweet. it has a flowery soapy after taste to it, the body is pretty light and watery. My wife likes it though, i guess it just remindes her of our honeymoon. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 12, 2006 From a 22 oz. distinctive shaped swing top brown bottle with no freshness date. Made a good appearance, poured a clear amber with a fluffy pale tan head that reduced to a foamy thin lacing. Had a sweet grainy aroma with whiffs of apple juice. Good carbonation and a crisp light bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Had a apple cider-like hop bitterness, followed a dry graininess and a crisp, bitter finish.
