Tmoney99 (4661), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Apr 17, 2006 Bottle from MI. Clear light amber pour with an average frothy white head that diminished quickly. Medium caramel malt aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Average sweet flavor with a moderate finish. Good looking bottle for an below average amber ale. Yeggo (37), USA Apr 8, 2006 caramel, cereal, resin, amber, clear, aminimal head, thin feel, average carbonation, LDawg (71), Rockport, Texas, USA Apr 2, 2006 01apr06 one bottle for couple dollar. cool bottle and flavor just a horrible aftertaste. bitter alafito (334), tijuana, Mexico Mar 18, 2006 Bottle, Very light beer, i have tasted this beer in Paris France and it was amazing, though eversince i got back ive bought it in the US and it is pretty bad. I wish i could get some of the Paris version again. The US version was pale, insipid and very bitter sweet. it has a flowery soapy after taste to it, the body is pretty light and watery. My wife likes it though, i guess it just remindes her of our honeymoon. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA Mar 12, 2006 From a 22 oz. distinctive shaped swing top brown bottle with no freshness date. Made a good appearance, poured a clear amber with a fluffy pale tan head that reduced to a foamy thin lacing. Had a sweet grainy aroma with whiffs of apple juice. Good carbonation and a crisp light bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Had a apple cider-like hop bitterness, followed a dry graininess and a crisp, bitter finish.
siriusbugeater (5), Clayton, Ohio, USA does not count Jan 26, 2006 Very ordinary amber bier. It made me wish I had ordered something else. It had the taste of a brown paper bag. zombywoof (355), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jan 24, 2006 Yuuuccckkk. This is too sweet- no I mean that in a bad way- like someone dumped a teaspoon of brown sugar in. Gachupines (290), USA Jan 23, 2006 Amber with white head which tends to linger. Taste is mostly malt, a little sweet and generally easy to drink. Nothing distinctive about this beer, but nothing horrible about it. Wouldn’t spend money on it, but I could think of a lot worse to drink.
