Malty and grassy aroma. MAlty and bandaid-ish flavor. Very thin mouhtfeel with not much character. It’s not a bad beer, there’s just not much to it. Lawnmower! But the bottle was less than 3 bucks, so I can’t complain too much. omnivore (270), San Francisco, California, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Sep 30, 2004 Pours a nice crystal amber color with a foamy lingering head. The aroma is reminiscent of beermud (you know, the beer on the floor around the keg the day after a party?). The flavor isn’t BAD, but it’s nothing spectacular. There’s not depth to it, no body. It’s just flat and hopped. Tejas (696), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Sep 3, 2004 Possibly one of the worst beers I’ve ever tasted. Smelled terrible. The french need to stick to making bread or snails or whatever they do well. If this is the best France has to offer; beer is not their forte. A total waste of money. jasonp (1509), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 12, 2004 Pours a clear amber with a small head. Aroma is slightly malty. Taste is very blah - light caramel malt and hops. Lacks character. Has somewhat of a crappy champagne-like aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin. Boring, not recommended. freekyp (900), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 2, 2004 Deep amber with large rocky white head. Corn is apparent in nose. Sweet and corny with light hoppiness. Better than American Lagers but not by much. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jun 26, 2004 Bottle. pours deep brown with tinges of red. aroma is skunk and peppermint taste is even worse. taste is a sour malt with an even worse hop finish. this beer is horrid. someone kill me please. if this tatsted as badd as it smelled that would have been o.k, but it tastes worse. there is nothing to recommend this. i would rather drink Bud than this. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 25, 2004 Bottle. Smell is roigh-kinda smells like a truck stop bathroom that has been half assed cleaned. Pour is decent-a red/amber with a loose one finger off white head. Taste is not nearly as bad as the smell. There is a sharp candy caramel taste along with some malt notes. Caramel and malt absoultley dominate the taste. The sweetness is just a little too much. It’s hard to drink this with the clothespin on my nose. Honeslty, it smells to high hell. walleye (879), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
