jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA Jun 14, 2004 Updated: Mar 6, 2005I really enjoy this one for some reason. Pours clear and amber, hence the name, but I felt the appearance was lacking a bit, too clear. Kind of a sweet taste to this one but with an initial sour note. However, a mellow smoothness to the finish. Not too bad. 00cobraR (1096), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA May 31, 2004 Just as the name suggests, it is amber colored. Had some nut flavor to it. a good beer with a cool lid PorterPounder (3133), Tallahassee, Florida, USA May 30, 2004 Light copper appearance, thin white head. Slightly fruity aroma. Has a bit of a nutty taste to it with a fruity backend. Smooth mouthfeel. Much better than the Tradition. badgerben (3587), Blaine, Minnesota, USA May 26, 2004 Pours a light and almost clear tan. Aroma of a dead skunk’s ass. Taste wasn’t too much better. Some malt and nuttiness, but the beer just stank, and not in a good way. Had far worse, but many, many better pantani (1895), Salinas, California, USA May 22, 2004 Malt and Tea aroma. Dense white head. Light Amber body. Taste is sweet tea, better then I thought it would be and an above average amber. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA May 19, 2004 you wont believe where i drank this one...paris. yep thats right paris casino and hotel in las vegas. during lunch we proceeded to order about 6 if these between 2 of us. not because the beer was good or cheap. but because i needed the bottles for my homebrew. not good beer though in any means. steer clear. drink only in a pinch. brewshthereen (316), Oregon, USA May 13, 2004 I dont know what "beer drinker" would like this, but it sure wasn’t me! Nasty sour, old aroma. Washed out, light reddish body with large bubbles in the head. Unpleasant. Bad plastic/Green taste in my mouth. Weak and uninteresting. Overall, not good. crazyvin (1246), New York, USA May 9, 2004 had from the bottle. not much to this beer, just a mundane hop flavor to it. because it was from the bottlethe aroma was a little weak. Palate seemed slighly carbonatied.
