Barreras (121), Diamond Bar, California, USA Mar 2, 2009 Nice light copper almost brass in color. Smells and tastes very refreshing with mild bitterness throughout. Faint caramel aftertaste with very soda like carbonation. Overall, very drinkable but lacks anything interesting. Good BBQ drinking beer. Trev (850), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Feb 13, 2009 Pours a medium gold with a thick foamy white head.
Very light grainy malty aroma,
Thin body with a grainy cardboard flavour and very light tart apple finish and a sourish aftertaste BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA Jan 31, 2009 I love the color. Its an ambiguous amber/red/brown...../beer color? Simple and lite aroma of citrus and good old CO2. Flavor is bland if not watered down malt and trailing yet lite bitterness. Not a lot to say other than, this was a really expensive disappointment.
Not that I wont drink it though. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jan 27, 2009 (500ml bottle, courtesy of Swalden 28) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of corn, grain, soap, and mustiness. Flavor of toasted grain and grass with a dry, metallic finish. gringo332 (236), Richardson, Texas, USA Jan 27, 2009 Smells pretty bad. Flavor is a little better than the aroma, but no much. A little hoppy and watery. No go esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jan 24, 2009 Amber. Mild aroma of caramel and corn and some sweet malts. Taste is kind of mild too with caramel and a corny aftertaste. Swalden28 (1439), McKinney, Texas, USA Jan 7, 2009 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX.
Pours a light, clear amber with off-white fizzy head that seemed to vanish only leaving a white ring. Aroma of fruit with caramel notes. Flavor isn’t much different, has a faint hop bitter. Light-medium body, kinda watery, with high carbonation. Overall, I’d have another, easy drinking, has some taste. SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Dec 12, 2008 Gold pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma and flavor of light malt and hops. That is all there is.
