I thought it was at least ok. Orange color with some faint hops, citrus, and alot of apples in there. A little watery and certainly nothing very impressive. But it will do and the bottle is quite interesting. Trappist (279), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2003 I was surprised by this ale. It was not the best I have ever had, but it was pretty good. Very noticable alcohol flavor in the first few sips. This is also a very dry and somewhat citrusy flavor with moderate carbonation. I agree with dwyerpg it is a neat bottle. dwyerpg (2529), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 17, 2003 Aroma has skunks. Color is orange. Taste is dry and a little sour. Is this a lager or ale? I'm confused. Oh well, it was cheap. Props to my dad for the history lesson on this region of France. ppcpilot (21), Port Allen, Louisiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 13, 2003 Not much aroma...reminded me of a nut brown. Brownish amber color, not much red there. Flavor is thin and watery, malty. A metallic aftertaste. Kinda thin and weak bodied. MaBeer1972 (421), Leominster, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 18, 2003 Very light body. Good frothy white head that sticks around for a tad. Clear golden brown color. Funny, aroma and flavor are almost sour and wine-like. (What else would you expect from France?) Flavorful though, even for such a light-bodied amber. He like it too." Sorry my roommate was being a jive and I had to mimmick the way he was acting. All in all a good beer. GreatStelle (360), Chico, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 31, 2003 good amber color. A foamy head. Good malt flavor, even for an amber. No real hop flavor. It's sub-par, than again what do you expect from wine drinking France.
