Commercial Description:
A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

Amber. Mild aroma of caramel and corn and some sweet malts. Taste is kind of mild too with caramel and a corny aftertaste.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a light, clear amber with off-white fizzy head that seemed to vanish only leaving a white ring. Aroma of fruit with caramel notes. Flavor isn’t much different, has a faint hop bitter. Light-medium body, kinda watery, with high carbonation. Overall, I’d have another, easy drinking, has some taste.

Clear golden color with a quickly diminishing white head. Apple and lager aromas. Berry like flavor with pils like malts and noble hops. Some caramel and light bitterness.

This is an interesting and refreshing beer, which I had not tried for a while because it was hard for me to find. It has a different taste from the ales I am used to, which I can’t adequately describe. It’s not sweet and has a lingering bitterness, which I like. Even the aroma is a bit bitter. In the past, I have ordered this beer at a local French restaurant and found it an excellent addition to the meal- a very suitable alternative to a more expenxive wine. Can’t say I agree with the reviews that say no finish or no head. Try it!

Watery copper color with whipped head poured from swing-top bottle. Aroma is bread and mineral with slight molasses. Flavor is watery malt, bread dough and brown sugar. Effervescent with very slight body.
