Nov 17, 2008 Clear golden color with a quickly diminishing white head. Apple and lager aromas. Berry like flavor with pils like malts and noble hops. Some caramel and light bitterness.

does not count  Oct 30, 2008 This is an interesting and refreshing beer, which I had not tried for a while because it was hard for me to find. It has a different taste from the ales I am used to, which I can’t adequately describe. It’s not sweet and has a lingering bitterness, which I like. Even the aroma is a bit bitter. In the past, I have ordered this beer at a local French restaurant and found it an excellent addition to the meal- a very suitable alternative to a more expenxive wine. Can’t say I agree with the reviews that say no finish or no head. Try it!
