COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

Initial taste is buttery, but then settles down completely wrong on the tongue... weird.

Nice bread-yeasty nose, nice color and thick, though small head; flavor and palate are on the bland side, but not unpleasant. Only worth it on sale in these parts.

Toasty, bread-like nose, with a similarly described flavor to follow. White-wine-like taste... or maybe more champagne-like? Definitely fizzy and effervescent, with a subtle warming sensation. Fairly well crafted. Had a ’salty’ flavor that I found interesting, but at the same time, unappealing.

Decent beer, but not always worth the price.

Little aroma. Not much head. Mediocre amber hue. Flavor is malty smoothness with nice finish. Hops are there, but way in the background, just adding a little stability to the subdued sweetness. Nothing great, but agreeable. Not sure if this would be a good sessions beer since it may get sweet after awhile.

OK, I’m going to go a little higher in my rating on this beer than everyone else: I think this is a perfectly spiffy brew. I’d much rather have this bottled than a Sam Adams on draft, say (and, by the way, I love this Grolsch style of bottle). Lovely color; not exactly a complex flavor, but exceedingly pleasant. Worth checking out!

I have always enjoyed this beer. Very nice and mellow malt taste.
