uhclem (188), Loveland, Colorado, USA Sep 14, 2008 Honey-colored pour with a large eggshell head. Minimal lacing. Nose is floral, earthen and malty. Almost flavorless. Thin mouthfeel and no fnish o speak of. dwaggs2 (531), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours a lighter amber color with no head at all. Has a strong malty aroma. Flavor is almost none at all. Taste somewhat like water. Fells like the beer is wated down a bit. Very smooth on the palate. Overall I was very disappointed in this beer spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA Aug 22, 2008 Not like a Northwest Amber for sure. Subtle Euro-type Amber. Has some nice malts, minor bitter hops. Has a 6% abv that is pretty well hidden. Actually the best thing about this beer is the bottle. jujubeast6000 (772), Houston, Texas, USA Aug 17, 2008 (bottle): Pours a very clear light brown color. Smallish white head, quickly diminishing. Malty, nutty English aroma. Same mallty english taste. Okay with a spicy shrimp boil. Fruitfly (59), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 10, 2008 Pours nice copper amber with large, lively bubbles and soft disappearing head. Aroma is metalic. Very little flavor but very slightly bitter. Very light bodied. Finish is over almost before you’re done drinking. pforei (338), USA Jul 27, 2008 Good head. Clear gold amber. Sweet caramel and grainy malt. Earthy, slightlty peppery hops. Thin and crisp. In the style of a macro but better. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia Jul 10, 2008 Huge white, meringue-like head. Hazy amber-brown body with orange hues. Aroma is wet-hay, grass, ripe red plums. Taste is a wet lager, watery, could use carbonation. Caramel is readily present. Palate is boring. Sampled from a rather large bottle, purchased at Wegmans in Fairfax, VA. hayduke (1619), Eureka, California, USA Jul 6, 2008 From a 500 ml swing top bottle, this poured a very clear amber with nice white head and light lacing. Nose of light malts and some floral hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor has some light nuts and the finish is slightly bitter. Drinkable.
