Commercial Description:
A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

Bottle. Pours a typical golden amber color with a decent sized white head. Aroma is heavy on the yeast, somewhat sweet, malty. Taste is much the same. Rather ordinary, but drinkable and refreshing.

his beer poured a beautiful copper with a nice head. It went downhill from there. There's a slight aftertaste but I can't quite put my finger on it. It's a rubbery metalic taste. After I noticed it was from France I noticed some wine characteristics that reminded me of a dry white wine. It's not bad, but it's not what I want in a beer. This is better than most domestic pilsners and the price was cheap (plus a cool flip-top bottle!), but I still wouldn't buy another.

Looks like the ratings are across the board on this one. In my opinion it is a decent and drinkable beer. Of course I had just come in from working out in Karate and was fairly thirsty at the time. Fairly light but not too washed out. White big head that is rapidly diminishing. Clear amber color with adequate hop bite.

Little aroma. Not much head. Mediocre amber hue. Flavor is malty smoothness with nice finish. Hops are there, but way in the background, just adding a little stability to the subdued sweetness. Nothing great, but agreeable. Not sure if this would be a good sessions beer since it may get sweet after awhile.

Beer poured a light golden brown with a sizeable, light brown head. There wasn’t much in the way of aroma, and the flavor was really mild for an ale. What I did taste was pretty unpleasant sort of like sour milk. It was a little watery unfortuantely too. Cool looking bottle though. Oh well. I guess the moral of this story is: don’t judge a beer by it’s bottle.

Foul. That’s all I can say about this. This is foul. If you look up the word ’foul’ in the dictionary, one of the entries will be ’rancid or extremely unpleasant, like Fischer Amber.’ No carbonation, an awful candy-sugar/cidery aroma mixed with I don’t even want to know what else. Taste is just awful, sugary sweet, like someone mixed granulated sugar with watered-down Wild Turkey. I can’t comment on the finish, as the beer never actually made it down my throat.
