Good carbonation w/large bubbles. Good sweet malty aroma. Flavor is not malty enough for me. Somewhat sour lingering in the background. Needed a cold one so it accomplished that, but not something that’s memorable.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 5, 2010 Aroma is skunky with nutty malts and caramels. Pour is dark amber with medium white head. Taste is wildly different from the aroma. Skunky lager taste with high fizzy carb. Not the best beer. fata2683 (942), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 27, 2009 bottle, pours light carmel with a thin off white head. Aroma is light and nutty. Flavor is pear and apple with sour metallic notes. Not good at all. JamesTrab (15), Matelica, Italy
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Al bicchiere ha un bel colore giallo limpido, con schiuma persistente ma non abbondante. In bocca appare secca, aspra e acida e moltissimo gassata. Inesistenti colori del lievito e quasi del malto. Una birra difficile da mandare giù se non la si accompagna ad un piatto. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Amber brown bottle, Light copper and clear pour with small carbonated head. Light grain flavored stale water aroma. Watered down corn and malts with nothing here that resembled hops. I’m guessing they are going for the light lager market with this one. aetheon (66), Beer Dungeon, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2009 pours a clear golden amber color, medium head, fair amount of lacing.
aroma is somewhat metallic and otherwise lite. Flavor is light roasted malts, corn and grain. somewhat like a typical american macro brew, but a little better - more flavor. Surprisingly cant tell that its 6%. Overall its ok, I would drink it again, not sure if I would buy it tho. ben4321 (1061), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Overall Impression:
This was an alright amber beer, it was the only thing on the menu that wasn’t a pale lager, and I really wasn’t feeling a pale lager at all, but I was really in the mood for a beer, and this did the trick. It was great, but at least it had something going on. A little color to it, and a little flavor, if not much else...

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 11, 2009 France has not impressed me yet with their beers. Faint roasted malt on the nose and not much else. Colour is fine. Very thin beer, lacks the rich flavour that Ive come to expect in my ambers, and just doesnt feel right in my mouth. Very watery and all flavour disappears at the end. Very easy to drink for a 6% beer though. Whether that is a good thing or not is up for debate. Doon (90), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 30, 2009 Pours a yellow amber with a bright white head that soon dissipated quickly. Minimal lacing. Aroma wafts faint hints of malt, and that stinky skunky smell... Taste is not bad, very bland for an "amber" ale, it tastes more lager-ish to me. Odd aftertaste I can’t quite put my finger on...
