Nose is mostly malt, crisp and clean, the start is somewhat sweet and malt laden, top is skeletal in it feel to the palate. Finish has a mild carbonation, the hops apropos to the style, droughty aftertaste, can’t say this beer does much for me.

Nose is sweet malts, light caramel, ripe fruits, flowery hops and light alcohol. Taste is sweet as well with rich malts, flowery hops, lgiht grass, ripe fruits, light caramel, and faint herbal notes. Body is medium and has big carbonation to it. Finishes sort of on the down side. There’s light grassiness, and sweet malts with faint caramel, an odd meaty type taste, and a pleasant hop bitterness. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 26, 2003 Small head but somewhat frothy which is nice. Slightly sweet and malty aroma. Taste is thin but with some character. Roasted malt with slight hops presence. Finish is clean and slightly sweet. An ok beer in a cool bottle (flip top) which is probably most of its selling point. hoped (18), Arizona, USA

Off odors at first, metallic, rust and mild detergent, seem to disappear, then I notice the hop and malt odor. Slightly metallic, hop, and grain flavor. Great carbonation. Good mouth feel but a bit dry. Again, I definitely like the 22 oz. flip-top bottle.
