2.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 andytothemax (16) - California, USA - JAN 12, 2004
I don't think the aroma was supposed to be like this...skunked out and fruity is the best way I can describe it. Just to be sure I got a second bottle and...it was the same. Looked nice with frothy head, taste was pretty good if a little too sweet, the aftertaste was kind of gross. I was disappointed considering the high price.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 IndianaRed (1727) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 3, 2006
Bottle pours a clear light amber witha small offwhite head and thin spotty lacing. Light malty aroma. Pale and lagerish with niotes of paper and honey. Flavor is very mild and plain. Slight hop notes for an attempt at balance, which I suppose is achieved as this is a quite light beer.
Patton’s quote keeps coming back to me. "I’d rather have a German division in front of me, than a French Division behind me..."

6 pack from the grocers. brown cool shaped bottle that was built for ease of drinking, amber color, a kind of nasty like after-taste which I got used to after a couple, tasted more like an old ale rather than an amber
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 thehinge (253) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - JAN 24, 2008
This is a step above American BMC’s. Appearance is pretty good, light brown pour with a white head that laces pretty well. Can’t say much else about it though. Nasty floral aroma does nothing for me. All I taste is kind of flat, corny malts...no hoppy bitterness at all. This is nearly a drain pour.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gachupines (471) - USA - JAN 23, 2006
Amber with white head which tends to linger. Taste is mostly malt, a little sweet and generally easy to drink. Nothing distinctive about this beer, but nothing horrible about it. Wouldn’t spend money on it, but I could think of a lot worse to drink.

Very smooth. Light amber color with a decent head. Watery mouthfeel, which detracts from my enjoyment. This is a great session beer.

clear red gold and light head. little aroma of slightly sour bread. clean and crisp body, lager like. very one dimensional flavor of malt and light bitterness and tart fruit. very uninspired...
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 glennmastrange (1547) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 6, 2008
Bottle. Light aromas all around, straw and roasted for the malt, herbs and dough for the hops and yeast, with cooked corn and cardboard in the background. Head is fizzy, white, with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear straw/brown. Flavor is lightly acidic to start, and finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a lively to fizzy carbonation. Not a bad beer, just some off aromas and a bland flavor.
