COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

Appearance: clear and light copper, with a short and shrinking white head; little lace. Aroma: not much nose--lightly sweet cereal grains. Taste: watery sweet toasted grains, hint of brown sugar. Finish: nonexistent. Notes: Almost a complete absence of aroma or flavor. A session beer if you like water that tastes a little like a sweet amber ale.

Amber with a fleeting head. The nose is of the dishwater used to wash beer glasses. Flavor? Perhaps how that dishwater would taste. Nice bottle, however. I’d say oui, oui. No, I meant wee-wee. It’s piss.

thick head, good lace, but not much character, honestly I found it a little gross, didn’t taste like an ale, more like a weak lager and in aroma as well, not much ’beer flavor’ kind of watery with alcohol standing out more than real flavor. Avoid this beer, overpriced and not good, you can do better.

Ugh. Tastes like Miller, with a slightly stronger urine component. Tastes flat quicly. Nice golden color, but the flavor leaves much to be desired. At least the bottle will be useful for homebrew.

First, it’s a pretty poor amber. Second, it’s French. Third, my bottle was not badass like the one in the picture. Soured and not at all pleasing.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2008 (FRANCE) Pours lite amber color with sm-white head. Slight skunk / funk aroma with a grassy / pears taste !!! The finish was dry and had a strange unpleasant aftertaste . Not recommended, but the bottle is cool.

Very thin and weak tasting. Doesn’t have much malt or hops. Don’t let the fancy bottle fool you, but do pass on the bottle to a homebrewer.

Bottle. pours deep brown with tinges of red. aroma is skunk and peppermint taste is even worse. taste is a sour malt with an even worse hop finish. this beer is horrid. someone kill me please. if this tatsted as badd as it smelled that would have been o.k, but it tastes worse. there is nothing to recommend this. i would rather drink Bud than this.

Possibly one of the worst beers I’ve ever tasted. Smelled terrible. The french need to stick to making bread or snails or whatever they do well. If this is the best France has to offer; beer is not their forte. A total waste of money.
