Amber pour with off white head. Nice malt aroma. Sweetness, hops, caramel. Taste is malt and a little hops. Slight sweetness at the end. Kind of a refreshing beer on a hot day. Nice lacing- the head lasted till the last drink.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 rollinsr (159) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - DEC 25, 2011
Pours amber in color with little head. Aroma is very subtle malt and yeast. Taste is similar to the aroma; not a whole lot of flavor, but what is present is very well-balanced and extremely crisp. For a 6% ABV, this beer disguises its alcohol content incredibly well. While the flavor left no real lasting impression, the crisp and clean nature of this beer leaves a very inspiring balance of ingredients.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Heathen (1243) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - FEB 11, 2007
THOUGHTS: Pleasant aroma, gut couln’t quite put my finger on what it specifically smelled like. Nothing really stands out about this beer, but I like it. I just don’t know if I would ever try it again. This is further proof to me though, that I would take a French beer over an Italian beer any day or night.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium, sparkling amber with an average, white head that lasted for a while but mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma was moderately malty. The Initial flavor was lightly sweet, while the finish was moderately sweet and lightly bitter with a short duration. The body was light to medium, oily and a little dry with fizzy carbonation and a very light metallic finish.

Cidery nose. Clear amber, medium yellow head, nice lacing. Weak malt then cider at midpalate. Stale malt finish. Drinks like snakebite in a bottle. Adulterated, but different.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2008 Awesome bottle. Pours a light amber with a good head. The taste is quite light; an earthy sweet malt followed by a hint of hops. It’s subtle, but a lot better than 15 percentile. The bottle perhaps suggests amazing things to come, but instead it’s just good.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SpringsLicker (2546) - Tennessee, USA - NOV 29, 2004
Copper color under a fleeting white head. Nutty malt aroma.
The flavor is malty with a bit of hop bitterness, but this is just another boring amber ale really. Some dryness in the finish, but overall not much going on here. Cute little swing top bottle and easy drinking unassertive flavor should make this a good gateway brew for the macro drinker looking to try something more daring. Think baby steps here.

In the bottle. Small white quickly diminishing head leaving good lace. Clear dark yellow to amber in color. Aroma of nutty bread. Perfume -like hop flavor. Soft and mild palate with a nice bitter finish. Smooth and drinkable flavor. A very easy beer to drink, but the sweetness might turn some off.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2005 I really enjoy this one for some reason. Pours clear and amber, hence the name, but I felt the appearance was lacking a bit, too clear. Kind of a sweet taste to this one but with an initial sour note. However, a mellow smoothness to the finish. Not too bad.
