Well, now I can honestly say I've tried a French beer. And it wasn't terrible! Tried both the amber and the bitter last night, the latter being tastier. Nice hops indeed.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Another great brew from Fischer. Pours out the color of a golden pilsner, with fine bubbles for a head. Hops aromas prevalent
from the start. Malty tastes up front, with a very bitter middle to it, along with a tangy hops finish. Actually not a bad beer,
considering it's from France. It has that cool flip top ceramic lid on it too, making it reusable. I liked this beer alot, and I'll be
drinking it again.

Poured straw colored yellow with a bubbly head. Aroma of moldy cheese and hop oil. Flavor was bitter, mouthfeel was light to medium. Not bad overall.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted on 3/26/03. Giant lasting head. Thick lather sticks to the glass all the way down. Light golden color. Nice carbonation. I never looked a beer this closely before but I can just barely see tiny, suspended, dustlike particles. Overall a good appearance. Mainly sweet smelling. Grain, malt and good strong bitter hop flavor. I definitely like the 22 oz. flip-top bottle.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
This beer sucks. Get a real bitter from England and let the French make wine. Thin, moldy, bad aftertaste, There was nothing I liked about this beer except the cool resealable top.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The beer pours a luminous gold color, the head prodigious in size, spumous in texture and bright white in color, the residual lace a fine covering sheet. The nose is mostly malt, slightly sweet, crisp and clean and pleasant as noses go. Start as is the nose, mostly malt and sweet, top is skimpy in feel, the finish nicely carbonated, the hops apropos to the style, dry lingering aftertaste, a drinkable beer, but nothing to write home about.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This one starts with a lot of thick white head, but not so great a color. Aroma is alright, but nothing special, in my opinion...average, really. The flavor is actually a little better than I expected, though the description must be joking when saying that the "bitter flavor of hops dominates." An average beer, on all levels.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Last time I smelled something like that, it was laying between the yellow highway stripes. Golden (ale?) with pithy head. Bad bottle feel. Metallic, over-sparged. It may be a little bitter, but it’s not bitter. Spend yer money on something else.

This is absolutely terrible. Every aspect of this beer is just awful. I’ve given up on Fischer.
