Bottle, Darker blond coloured with some light carbonation and a small white head. Sweet, artificial fruity (lime/ citrus) and tequila aroma. Medium sweet palate. Finish is sticky sweet tequila flavoured with clear lime touches. Nothing good, antorther alcopup beerlike drink.

Can 50cl, yellow beer with low head. Smell is difficult to describe, nothing usual. This stuff is not really bad at all but far from beers, it’s more a soda like Schweppes, the only thing for me that links it to a beer is a round hops aroma at the finish. It’s really watery, sweet and syrupy but drinkable, not acid but quite bitter, less refreshing because of the intense sugar presence.

Can from Auchan, Marne Le Vallee, France.
Pours an average cheddar yellow with a healthy head of white. Aroma is about as close to Sprite as a beverage can get without being, well, Sprite. Flavor is watered-down limecicle and a splash of lab manufactured tequilla. Watery on the tongue. Not horrible, but not worthy of a second look.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of lime, guava, and tequila. The flavor is sweet with notes of tequila, guava, and alcohol. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, lime, spicy, tart. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, chili notes, plastic spicy, lime sweet, fresh. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100224]

A big bottle from a Carrefour, shared with heavy. Golden body, medium sized thick white head. Herbal lemon/lime nose. Herbal lemony taste, light, sweet, fruity and a bit tangy. Not all that beery bit had far worse beverages before and after it.

11/10 0.65 l bottle from a big Carrefour in Cannes. It poured golden body with medium sized head that dissapeared soon. Sweetish sugary lemony aroma, completely artificial, with minor sharp tequila note. Sweetish flavor of artificial lemony sweetener, slight tequila, pretty thin body with short, pretty bad finish... This thing is drinkable and it’s not offensive if you take it like a juice, but hey, does is have any beer inside?

Taking this back from the supermarché I thought it was the real Desperados, but instead turns out to be its retarded brother the Desperados Mas! Uh oh, more fruity pop-drinks, I thought. Looks like a very artificial beer with an artifical head that is close to pop fizz. Smells like lime soda with a hint of skunkiness. Taste is a smooth mix of lime and water. Kind of like a lime cooler. I guess it’s okay when you want alcoholized lime pop. I don’t.

Lime and malt in aroma. Golden yellow colour with white head. Sweet fruity flavour with lime. Softdrink like although with a dry aftertaste. Refreshing but absolutely nothing desperate about this brew.

Can from a Marais shop. Light gold color with a decent white head. Smells like lime and sweat.Thinnish, sweetish and limeish. Touch of Tequila seems present. Not exactly unpleasant, but for some reqson I don’t want to drink it. Better than many "beers" of this type.

Botella. Clear deep golden colour. Weak hoppish lime aroma. Candy lime sweet flavour. Soda beer, refreshing.
