0.5l bottle. Dark golden to amber color, white head. Aroma of malt, pale malt, grain, herbal hop notes, some metallic notes. Taste starts sweet, medium carbonation, medium bitterness. Malt notes dominate, some caramel and hop notes. Very refreshing, though!

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Very plain, but clean. Just the basics in the nose, and a somewhat sweet (and even slightly syrupy) mouth experience. No complaints, really, just really ordinary and forgettable.

Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grainy, hay, malt, warm sweetness - maybe honey sweet, dry, initial light metalic bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120528]

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a thick and slowly lacing foamy white head. Light-sweet malty aroma with honey and a touch of hay and herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a lively carbonated mouthfeel. Malt-accented, honey-ish fruity taste; moderately dry, light-bitter, slightly herbal finish. Not overwhelming but pleasant to drink.

Bottle: Clear, deep golden coloured, thick and creamy white head; honeyish, sweet-malty nose with a delicate hoppy bitterness, mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium-bodied; mild but spicy bitter-sweet finish. Mediocre by franconian , but great by international standards.............
