COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fischer Tradition is a smooth, complex beer which is fruity and has some flowery undertones. Savour it as an aperatif or with cold meats, cheese and choucroute.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2014 0.65l bottle with flip cork. Bought at Bonarka (at the huge supermarked at the first floor) shopping mall in Krakow. Que? I donít understand the low rating, but it can be because Iím used to terrible macrobeers from Norway. Rich, full taste of a great beer.

65cl flip-top bottle. One of my favourite lagers. Pale golden appearence, very pleasing to look at. Great taste with a slight bitter hint on the tongue. A bit astonished about the low ratings here. Give it a try.

Light fruity aroma. Clear golden colour with ok head. Malt caramel flavour with smooth finish. Medium body with low carbonation.

I must be on my own on this one! One of my favourite lagers, almost similar in style to the Alsace Dry Reisling wines of the area. Not much aroma, with a pale golend appearance. Greta taste on the palate, with a slighly bitter tangy hit on the back of the tongue that lasts for ages. Lovely!

Poured into tulip style Fischer glass rapidly to yield a pale yellow body and a good fluffy white head that fills the glass from the 12 ounce serving. Itís French and a blond or pale lager. Two strikes against it from the start? Iím quite pleased that there is not the usual skunky aroma that I find in many lager style beers. Vague light hop/malt aroma. Taste? Not the usual funky lager -"spit this crap out" taste that I expect. Much to my surprise it actually tastes quite good and goes well with the chicken fingers coated in wing sauce that Iím chewing on. Cools the "hot" and compliments the blue cheese dressing that Iím using for dipping. The taste rating is in reference to other lagers only.. The mouthfeel is refreshing with plenty of carbonation. When all is said and done, itís the best lager Iíve tried recently. Maybe I was just lucky, or itís not really as bad as some reviews would indicate.

Very smooth and drinkable. This beer went donít easy and does the job of refreshing thirst. I drank it while eating fish and it did not overpower the food. I would definitely buy this agian.

Good beer, really good. Nice bitterness and a great dark amber color. It goes very well with meats and cheeses.
