Hazy orangey yellow golden colour with a small to average sized foamy white head. Yeast, banana, caramel sweetness and some maltiness in the aroma. The flavour is grainy wheat, some mild tartness, mild yeast and mild fruitiness. There’s no sweetness from the aroma. This is quite middle-of-the-road Weizen.

The body is orange and cloudy. It smells yeasty-flat, sweet-sour a bit banana. The taste is yeasty-sweet. In the aftertaste it is yeasty.

Bottle from a REWE in Forchheim. Hazy gold with a slight white head. banana, citrus and clove aroma. Wheat grain flavours, with some sweet lemon, a yeasty edge and dryish finish with some lingering bubble gum notes.

(swing top bottle, purchased at the Fischer-Keller in Zentbechhofen) Cloudy, deep golden colour with a dense and slightly off-white foamy head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma with fruity notes of banana, accompanied by hints of biscuits and cara-malt. Mildly bitter-tart flavour with a delicate malty sweetness, rather light bodied with a soft carbonation. Wheaty and cara-malty taste with notes of banana and a chalky touch; mildly bitter and slightly tart and fruity finish with vague notes of cloves. A tad slim but nevertheless a rounded Hefeweizen. 11.VIII.12

Draught at the 16th BBF. Hazy light golden with a short white head. Heavy on banana esters in both nose and mouth, no phenols, some mild plastic. Medium body.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas steht ein stark getrübtes, dunkelorangenes Weizen mit kleiner, flacher Cremekrone. Der Geruchstest fällt sehr fruchtig aus, sogar ein wenig zuckerig, nach Süßigkeiten und Bonbons. Ebenso fällt auch der Antrunk aus. Erst sahnig hefig, dann aber sehr schnell zuckersüß werdend, wieder etwas nach Bonbons schmeckend. Im Abgang kommen zarte Fruchtnuancen durch. Aber bis zum Finish bleibt das Weizen sehr süß, und zwar künstlich süß. Schade drum, denn die Hefearomen an sich sind eigentlich sehr gut!

Bottled (from Landbierparadies). Orangeish golden colour with mediumsized white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is wheat, banana, some herbs and mild wooden notes. Flavour is wheat, banana, some wood, mild yeasty notes and also has a quite tart edge to it.

(Bottle 0,5l) Light sweet, light banana, light vanilla, weak aroma. Cloudy light orange color. Minimal white head. Medium sour, light sweet. Medium body. Light lively. Sticky texture. Sour, astringent finish.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours hazy orange with a creamy lasting head and lacings. Nose is wheat, bread and vague yeast and banana. Smooth and medium bodied. Medium sweet with wheat and vague banana and a bit of fruity tartness. Harmonic and well made.
