Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours hazy orange with a creamy lasting head and lacings. Nose is wheat, bread and vague yeast and banana. Smooth and medium bodied. Medium sweet with wheat and vague banana and a bit of fruity tartness. Harmonic and well made.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas steht ein stark getrübtes, dunkelorangenes Weizen mit kleiner, flacher Cremekrone. Der Geruchstest fällt sehr fruchtig aus, sogar ein wenig zuckerig, nach Süßigkeiten und Bonbons. Ebenso fällt auch der Antrunk aus. Erst sahnig hefig, dann aber sehr schnell zuckersüß werdend, wieder etwas nach Bonbons schmeckend. Im Abgang kommen zarte Fruchtnuancen durch. Aber bis zum Finish bleibt das Weizen sehr süß, und zwar künstlich süß. Schade drum, denn die Hefearomen an sich sind eigentlich sehr gut!

Bottled (from Landbierparadies). Orangeish golden colour with mediumsized white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is wheat, banana, some herbs and mild wooden notes. Flavour is wheat, banana, some wood, mild yeasty notes and also has a quite tart edge to it.

(Bottle 0,5l) Light sweet, light banana, light vanilla, weak aroma. Cloudy light orange color. Minimal white head. Medium sour, light sweet. Medium body. Light lively. Sticky texture. Sour, astringent finish.

22.07.2011. 0,5l Bottle. Shared with my dad. Hazy beer, yellow colour and a large head. Aroma is wheaty and there are some very nice and soft hoppy flavours. Notes of banana, yeast and sweetness.

It’s unclear golden with a creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of mild yeast, only slightly spicy, fruit and wheat. The flavour is sweet with notes of slightly spicy yeast, banana, fruit, wheat, and the finish is rather spicy and dry.

Bottle. A hazy orange beer with a large, frothy, mostly lasting white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty and lightly yeasty. There are notes of wheat, toasted grain, banana and a hint of bubblegum. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly sour. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, quite lonfg finish with light bitterness. Nice, but not powerful aroma, rather good flavour balance and drinkability. Somewhat underrated.

Swing-top bottle. Sweet orange/banana, malt, and vinegar aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with small head. Light sweet-sour banana and wheat malt flavor. Body a bit light. Decent but not great - this bottle was a bit past prime though.

Hazy medium orange color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel - toffee, moderate yeasty, fruity, light banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy fruity sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100105]

(bottle) pours a hazy yellow colour with a small but dense white head. aroma of banana, bubblegum and butter, with light notes of floral hops and leather. flavour is the same, with wheat and popcorn up front. medium body with much too little carbonation to keep this refreshing.
