(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly nutty toast-malty aroma with shy hints of vegetables. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a well-matured carbonation. Slightly toasted (cara-)malty taste with nutty and herbal accents; sweet-bitter, slightly toasty and nutty finish with a whiff of herbal hops. 24.II.10

Nice medium frothy head on a wonderful amber-red colored beer. Skunky nose, malty and unpleasant finish with some bitter undertones.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden to light amber coloured, medium-sized, relatively firm off-white head; vegetables in the delicate toasty-caramelly nose; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 6.9%; some increasing hoppy traces in the malty and vegetabley finish. No glory.....

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. Clear nut brown beer with a rather tall and nicely remaining (at least 1 inch of head all the long) head. Fruity malty aroma with a lot of banana showing up. Sweet taste. Banana appearing again. Malt accentuated. Low bitterness. Alcoholic on the swallow. The aftertaste has some onion sneaking in. Mediocre in my opinion. Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!

bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear chestnut-brown colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty with hints of raisins, plumes, prunes, dark berries, chocolate and caramel. Lingering fruity-chocolatey-caramelly finish.
