"Beer brewed by winemakers who love beer"? Hmmm... And then they call themselves a brewery despite blatantly not having a brewery. Double hmmm... Anyhow, it’s filtered, gold with a pretty ugly head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is rather weird - apple juice and lime cordial, reminiscent of Redd’s Gold or Monteith’s Radler. It’s quite offputting. There’s also a bit of sulfury Czech yeast which would be really good if it were accompanied by malt or hop. Luckily it tastes pretty good. Round, soft, peachy malt, tangy Czech hops, sherbety tropical fruit. Not that hoppy or bitter, though. It’s a bit weird, but it’s not far off being quite good. Also, the label says this is brewed at Australian Independent Brewers in NSW, not Mildura, but on the web it’s mentioned that ALL (that’s their emphasis, not mine) the beers are brewed in Mildura. I entered it under Mildura for consistency’s sake.
