Creamy white head with a complex hoppy nose. Wonderful smell! Malty and bitter good balance. Better in the nose than the mouth.

Jul 8, 2008 Pours with an amber body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s swet and malty with strong hop notes full of grapefruit and pine as well as fruity alcohol esters. Full bodied and hot.

May 17, 2008 Cloudy peachy with a bit of head. Some hop aroma. Very dry full mouthfeel DIPA. Heavy alcohol. Full hophead dosing, but not complex.Found in Calgary nine months back.

May 14, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a clear garnet color with a yellowish tan head. A bit of lace was left behind at the end. Big malty nose full of molasses, maple syrup, and toffee. There was also an orange liqueur note and a whiff of steeping barley. Medium to full bodied and sweet on the tongue. Carbonation was on the lower end of the spectrum. Fruity and malty, almost syrupy. I tasted cherry, toffee, pineapple, and subdued sprucy hops. There was minimal hop bitterness that lingered in the back of my mouth. Pretty good.
