spikester (242), Salem, Oregon, USA Apr 22, 2008 Pours hazy gold with copper tones. Fair amount of lacings. Floral aroma.
Taste is well balanced, sweet tasty malt with enough hop presence to give full flavor for the style. Don’t expect an APA this is a Blonde Ale and in that category it is really good. Sometimes I enjoy a respite from the hop bombs that seem to get all the big ratings. Try drinking this as the first beer of the day especially in the hot days of summer. You will enjoy it. Might even have another. estoppel (932), Buffalo, New York, USA Apr 17, 2008 Bottle. Dark blonde body, small white head receding quickly, slightly fruity nose. Very grainy, bland, not much here. k_tussey2184 (5), Spokane, Washington, USA does not count Apr 13, 2008 taste was not to my standard, it was kinda spicy bitter, blondish color with little head. TheDean (780), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jan 3, 2008 Wonderful aroma. Sour taste. I mean SOUR sour! At first I thought it was just the initial taste was sour, but it lingers something fierce. Not even sure if I can finish the bottle. Did I mention this beer is sour?! pintbypint (828), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Dec 2, 2007 355ml brown bottle. Pours golden with some light hazing.
