on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is grain, fruity, grassy-hops, crisp. Taste is musty grain, fruity, grassy-hops, crisp. OK/mild carbonation.

Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Dark gold color with a light white head. Aromas of pale malt and fruit hop. Medium body with coarse carbonation. Flavors of fruit, citrus and bread. More malty than not, and the hop is present, but overall it finishes more like bread.

A hazy golden ale with a thick lightly off white head. A lightly grassy malt aroma with light caramel. In mouth, a nice refreshing blonde, with biscuit malt, and more german like hops. Medium bodied. Slight signs of oxidation. Trade with Presario...thanks Trev.

2010-06-29. Crisp dark yellow body, modest white head. 3+ Very muted aroma, light pale fruity character, very mild bitterness, touches of biscuity pale malts. 5+ Average plus palate is more full bodied than expected. 3+ Okay but pretty mild. On tap at Fishbowl pub as Organic Blonde, Olympia

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 On-Tap @ <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Places/ShowPlace.asp? Alehouse in Boise, ID Unfiltered hazy gold, light brown with some light off-white head & no lacing. The aroma is very hoppy for a blond with some musky 2-row & wheat coming up through the sweet pnw hoppiness. The flavor is balanced with a lean towards the sweet side. Very refreshing and clean hoppy blond ale. Quite good but standard for the region.

Hazed amber color with a tall fluffy dark cream colored head. Wild or even buckwheat honey aromas mix with some dry wood and caramel scents. Light and quite airy, somewhat expected after seeing the pour. Honey and rye, with some mild smoke seems to seep in. An interesting brew, that I enjoy from a aspect that I am not sure that are intended, but I’ll take them.

Tasted at the May Northern California Beer Tasting. This blond ale pours a golden yellow color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of vanilla. A medium bodied blond/golden ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are mild and slightly spicy. Crisp and clean. A light and refreshing tasting beer, with no major taste defects, but not a lot of flavor either. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and fruity.

Seventh stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 in Olympia, Washington. Final brew sampled on tap at the Fish Tale brewpub. Pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a decent light white head that slowly dissipates to a fine film. Aroma of light biscuity malt, a touch of citrus hops and some earthy herbs. Taste is a fruity malt, light body and low carbonated with a multi-grain biscuity flavor. Finish is clean, crispt and no bitter aftertaste. Very refreshing.
