3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Surprising to see the negative comments/low scores. It’s at a solid price point for higher end craft beers. There were no extra frills to put it over the top, but it’s a solid example of what to expect from an IPA.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to shaker glass, pours hazy amber, two finger frothy off white head. Decent lacing and some retention. Aroma of lemon and herbs. Taste is nicely balanced, pleasantly bitter with a light caramel sweetness. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, sticky resin mouth feel. Finishes bitter. Tasting notes of grapefruit, lemon, wildflowers, caramel and spruce. I think this is a great IPA!

Appearance amber, orange, hazy, cloudy, frothy, white foam,

Overall a lighter tasting ipa that I would suggest to someone that is just starting out with ipa’s.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber from Roth’s. Very deep amber in color. Lightly sweet nose with a little spicy hoppiness. Lightly sweet and earthy up front. Not super hoppy. Some earthiness. Seems like a more classic English interpretation of the style. Pretty enjoyable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very dry, perhaps a bit trashy and papery. Yes, there are hops with their bitterness, but there is a lack of character. A bit skunky with some cereal maltiness. A bit disappointing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle 3/19/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-44° in Shaker-Pours a hazy orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and malt. Taste of the same with a bit more malt on the back end. This medium bodied brew is well balanced.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is not all that heavy on the hops, especially for an IPA. There’s a heavy mix of toasty, husky, and caramel malt. The flavor is quite bitter though, especially up front. There’s not a whole lot of hop flavor in here though, it’s all about the bitterness. The malt sweetness is kept in check by the bitterness pretty well though. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Meh, not an IPA that piques my interest too much.
