A great IPA that has a nice aroma and good mix of fresh hops and smooth malts.

Very dry, perhaps a bit trashy and papery. Yes, there are hops with their bitterness, but there is a lack of character. A bit skunky with some cereal maltiness. A bit disappointing.

12oz bottle 3/19/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-44° in Shaker-Pours a hazy orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and malt. Taste of the same with a bit more malt on the back end. This medium bodied brew is well balanced.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is not all that heavy on the hops, especially for an IPA. There’s a heavy mix of toasty, husky, and caramel malt. The flavor is quite bitter though, especially up front. There’s not a whole lot of hop flavor in here though, it’s all about the bitterness. The malt sweetness is kept in check by the bitterness pretty well though. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Meh, not an IPA that piques my interest too much.

The label shows a lone sailor aboard the last dinghy as a burning boat sinks into the ocean. He looks gloom as he drinks the last bit of beer from his mug. I guess this is the beer you drink before the very end. I will drink it now.

Pours slightly cloudy amber with a medium sized off-white head, lots of lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, bitters. Flavors are malty, bready, bitters and pine, dry finish
Decent, almost a hoppy Bitter.

12 oz bottle pours gold with small white lacing. Almost no aroma. Bread like malts and pine hop flavor. Solid bitterness. Not bad, though not the best IPA I’ve had. Love the label. OK IPA.

For an ipa it's very flat in look and aroma. Pours a dark gold with no head, highly carbonated. Little malt but has a great hoppy flavor, still there is a little to boast about, but it's drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. Hazy amber pour with an almost creamy off white head. Caramel malt and a touch of soap in the aroma. The flavor switches gears to more pine and biscuit notes. A little out of balance in my opinion.
