bubbleflubber (1786) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Pours a burnt orange into the glass, with a ton of yeastie floaties, a sticky head and slathering lace. The nose shows some astringency. Flavors are pale and caramel malts, light citrus, biscuity flour, and finishes with a medium pine hop. The flavors aren’t extremely complex, nor is the substantive value in the body, which makes for a lackluster mouthfeel... rather dull and inactive on the palate. I think the ideas were there, but the execution suffers in producing a top-tier IPA.

On tap at the Oregon Gardens Brewfest. Citrus with malty sweetness in the background. Bitterness throughout but the brew is a bit off balance a weak in the middle. Dry finish that fades quickly.

Terminus (3229) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - MAR 23, 2014
Bottle-pours hazy dark orange with a small soapy white head around the rim of the glass. nose is mostly leaffy herbal tea like notes-smells like a british hop. yet another leafy almost british hop ipa here-dont know how fresh this is, but if it is fresh, then this is awful. Well i just saw the bottle date and it was bottled back in November. not good.

pours cloudy orange to amber. with a nice head that last quite a while. The aroma is citrus, grapefruit, some floral, and bread. the nose is pretty light on this one. the flavor is upfront sweet with malt and caramel followed by the hop back bone. after the initial taste it you get grapefruit, citrus, and pine at the end. The most bitter is when you swallow. Wish i got more bitter up front than in back.. thats a personal taste tho, Overall this is middle of the road.
