COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Medium-bodied with an appealing amber hue, this is the First Ale of the Republic. Its organic pale, Munich, and crystal malts create a gentle sweet character that is difficult to resist. From organic Hallertauer hops come a zesty flavor and aroma that beautifully balance Organic Amber’s malt profile. The result: Truly delicious ale that salutes organic farmers and all the goodness they bring to our tables.

Growler. Clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, herbal hops and light fruitiness. Flavor is mostly mild caramel malt with a faint hop presence and fairly clean yeast. Medium body with a smooth mouth fee. Solid amber, goes down easy.

12 oz. bottle. Pours amber with a tight soapy khaki head that settles to a soapy film. Aroma is sweet malt and crystal sugar and faint dulled hops (very very faint). Taste is light bitterness and watery with the sugary malt come into play. Palate is thin and watery with a dry finish. The aroma is the best part of this beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy darker amber with slight reddish tinge and almost no head. Nose is almost non-existent. Taste is definitely malty and a little sweet. Not a whole lot else

Wish all beer was organic... This one is a bit too sweet though, a really sweet and malty amber.

A good amber. Pours amber of course with a small head. Malt, bread and caramel in the aroma. The flavor is similar. Just a touch of hops to offset the bitterness.
