COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fish Tale IPA is a medium bodied ale with a bright golden color and robust strength. While Pale, Carastan, and Munich malts lend a gentle sweetness and balance to the background palate, this ale is dedicated to complex hop flavor.

Not a particularly good IPA. Musty with a touch of stale bread. Nice hopping, though. Bitter with a decent mouthfeel.

Bottle @ Calgary Beer Fest. Pours clear dark orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is floral, citrus, and pine hops with cookie and biscuit malt and pear esters. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness with sweet malt, fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Malt forward IPA. Bitterness is not overwhelming, giving rise to other hop flavors. Solid, if unexceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice golden yellow colour. Gentle aroma with a slight hint of fruitiness. Taste is rather boring with a hint of dead grass and bitterness that hangs around. Very very slight caramel undertone with bitter finish. There is no real hop zing to clear the palate like I’d expect from a good IPA. Overall I appreciate the natural flavours that are presented, although they are rather lacking. However I wouldn’t call it either fresh or hearty, it’s rather in the middle. Nothing I would really go out of my way to buy again but would gladly purchase over other beer in it’s price range.

Bottle. I was not overly impressed by this IPA. It’s hoppy but thin and flimsy.

Small, tan head thats short lived with a lil coating of lace. Murky, orange color. Lotsa iced tea in the nose and flavor dept.. Sweet malt bomb with the iced tea and vegetal notes all over the damn thing. Done, cant finish it.Fuck it. Liquid-Plumr. Bad one?? Bottle from statelineliquors.

12 oz bottle Ths was a gift from another craft beer lover. The ale poured a cloudy orange color with modest lacing and a small off white head. Fruity hops hit the nose along with pine. There is also other citrus like grapefruit and lemon. The flavor was milder than I expected. There is plenty of pine and citrus in ever sip. the carbonation was average for the ale. The IPA finished dry with some lingering bitterness in the upper mouth. I hope to compare in the future a bottle of organic versus non-organic.

Needs more hops! Other than that, decent beer but slightly skunky. Too expensive, though the organic makes it more palatable.

I usually don’t buy wine or beer labeled "organic" because it usually means higher price. That and the fact that the term "organic" has been prostituted to the point of meaninglessness. However, this is a very well balanced india pale ale. Not too hoppy. Enough malt to balance the hops. Excellent!

Cloudy orange white vanishing head. Mild orange aroma. A nice crisp IPA that leaves the mouth wanting more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
