2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Citrus aroma, pale slightly cloudy. I dont get how anyone says this is a bitter/ hoppy IPS. I find it almost totally neutral even as a Pale Ale. No bitterness or hoppy flavor at all, weak to mild Ale at best. Hardly characteristic as an American IPA, skip this one unless you fancy a flat, tasteless Ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mild and earthy, a bit dry with subtle grapefruit and hops. A bit dirty and trashy, though. The finish fades rather quickly. A bit bland for an IPA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to shaker, pours hazy orange gold, One finger frothy white head. Some lacing and retention. Aroma grass and oranges. Taste is on the sweet side, some citrus hop bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, mouth feel is slick. Finishes lightly bitter. Tasting notes of pine, lemon, grass, hay, caramel. This is more of a pale ale to me, but drinkable.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light copper body with a one finger foamy beige head that had decent retention. The nose is light on the hops, some floral and lightly citrusy notes, with a slightly sweet caramel malt base. The flavor is way too heavy on the malt for my tastes in an IPA. The caramel and husky malt base almost completely obscures what little hoppiness in in here. Lingering husky and grainy finish. Medium bodied and a bit clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Meh, pretty poor IPA.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
An average IPA that kind of looks like an Amber Ale with a malty color, but it was very smooth. I had it on tap at California Craft in the Bay Area, CA and I’d probably have it again on tap. Not sure if I would ever get it in the bottle though...

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rating #1139 - 27.06.2014 - On tap @revolutionyeg. Pours a golden amber - bubbly white head. Grassy malt aromatics - some citrus, some pine, floral. Palate is a little unbalanced - lots of grassy, herbal notes, sharp bitterness that overwhelms.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
One of the better looking pale ales. Strong hop taste like always yet still smooth to the palate.
