Remarkably bright with a crisp hop finish, Fish Tale Organic Pale Ale is a beautifully balanced jewel of brewing. Its four organic malts impart a mellow sweetness thatís amply matched by Yakima Cascade hops. Pale ale enthusiasts will treasure this ale as much as they love Cascadia, the beautiful land that inspired it!

12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a somewhat turbid solid copper color, half finger white head formed with very little lacing upon the vessel. Aroma of pine, light citrus, and perch- yep, solid perch. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt tastes good because it wasnít soaked in caramel, middle has a light hop wave, Finish is odd because I was expecting some acidity, but there was none, just some residual sweetness. Itís alright.

12oz bottle 3/18/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-38į in Shaker-Pours hazy orangish amber with a small head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is a bit subdued compared to others but still tasty.

A: Nice motley gold color with a 1" tight head that retains fairly well. good lacing also. S: Citrus/pine hop smell. Nice but well worn smell. T: Bitter pine and juicy grapefruit.. Same as a hundred or so American pale ale/IPAs. Just not as strong. Malt bread is barely noticeable but good for overall flavor balance. M: Light with a zippy amount of bubbles. Slight stickiness on the finish. O: I keep trying these organic beers looking for the genie in the bottle. This beer is reasonably priced and comes with organic certs. Wont break any records for originality but is worth drinking if knowing what youíre drinking is important to you.

On tap at Fish Tale, pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma is nearly non-existent, with biscuity malt and not much else. Flavour is bland as hell, with light floral hops, a touch of fruitiness and just enough caramel malt backing. Boring but decently brewed.

Draft - Light caramel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Earthy hops and bitterness with a touch of caramel. More English style.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep gold with a high, rocky, lacy white head. Nose is lemon Pledge, strawberry, lavender, and dust. Fruity and tangy on the front of the palate; there is some hops bitterness and acidic notes, and hops bitterness balances it out decently. Low carbonation mars things a bit, as well as a finish that turns bitter and little else. Still, for a completely organic beer, itís pretty decent.

Bottled 10.2013. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip (other glasses were dirty) on 01.27.14. A: Cloudy amber. 1/2 finger head. S: Caramel. T: Biscuit dominates. Caramel back end. M: Smooth. O: This was easy to drink. It tasted more like an amber than an APA, though.

Pours a cloudy dark copper colour. Microhead with a little lace. Taste starts with sweet malt up front then pine and faint citrus, followed by bitterness that coats your tongue. Iíd have it again

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours clear golden with very little head that dissipates quickly to a few bubbles. The aroma has floral notes, a bit of a citrusy note, but nothing defined. The taste is lightly bitter with a toasted malt balance. Meh.

"a little thick and overly malty for the style imho. didnít really care for it. seems to me like this brewer is hit or miss but the couple organics i remember off hand were a slight miss."
