COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Remarkably bright with a crisp hop finish, Fish Tale Organic Pale Ale is a beautifully balanced jewel of brewing. Its four organic malts impart a mellow sweetness that’s amply matched by Yakima Cascade hops. Pale ale enthusiasts will treasure this ale as much as they love Cascadia, the beautiful land that inspired it!

Has a pleasant citrus hop aroma. Taste is a tad citrus hops with a biscuit malt presence. Tingly slight bitter aftertaste. Not shabby.

Poured from the 12oz bottle into a shaker glass. Bright amber color with a thin cream colored head. Aroma is sweet and grainy with some citrusy hops. Flavor is mildly sweet and bready with some light floral and citrusy hop notes. Medium bodied. Nothing special but a decent pale and very drinkable.

Appearance: pours with a small beige head that dissipates quickly, the beer is a bronze color, hazy Aroma: caramel, faint Taste: moderate bitterness, minimal pale malt background, Palate: lively carbonation, light mouthfeel, slight bitter aftertaste Overall: has a hallow feel to it that I’m not too fond of, not bad though, drinks like a light beer with a bit more flavor ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Was a gusher out of the bottle. Pours a hazy orangish amber with a fizzy off white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, caramel malts, vegetal aromas and steeped orange peels. Taste is sweet caramel malts, citrus hops that are overpowered by a vegetal flavor and a nice balancing bitterness in the finish. Finish is sweet and not very dry. This beer would play out better with a dryer finish and getting rid of the vegetal flavor and aroma.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours cloudy amber-orange. Quick almost white head, some lace, slight retention. Aroma of light citrus. Taste is lightly bitter, slightly sweet. Light bodied, soft carbonation, watery mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of caramel, light pine, light citrus. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a somewhat turbid solid copper color, half finger white head formed with very little lacing upon the vessel. Aroma of pine, light citrus, and perch- yep, solid perch. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt tastes good because it wasn’t soaked in caramel, middle has a light hop wave, Finish is odd because I was expecting some acidity, but there was none, just some residual sweetness. It’s alright.

12oz bottle 3/18/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-38° in Shaker-Pours hazy orangish amber with a small head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is a bit subdued compared to others but still tasty.

A: Nice motley gold color with a 1" tight head that retains fairly well. good lacing also. S: Citrus/pine hop smell. Nice but well worn smell. T: Bitter pine and juicy grapefruit.. Same as a hundred or so American pale ale/IPAs. Just not as strong. Malt bread is barely noticeable but good for overall flavor balance. M: Light with a zippy amount of bubbles. Slight stickiness on the finish. O: I keep trying these organic beers looking for the genie in the bottle. This beer is reasonably priced and comes with organic certs. Wont break any records for originality but is worth drinking if knowing what you’re drinking is important to you.
